I did a mix of camping and cheap $34/night motels. Love those little motor inns where you park right outside your door and sit around outside chatting with others in the evening.

April spent the day with my daughter who is due the 17th. Took her for a nice pedicure and a little shopping, had a great time. Her poor feel are really swelling, but better now that school is done so she is now on summer break.

The long barrel HH.357s have a ceramic (?) cup where the coil rests and around that and underneath is packed with SS mesh that holds quite a bit of juice.

I used to camp on motorcycle trips a lot. These days I'm more inclined to stay in a motel and get a hot shower at the end of the day, especially if I rode a lot of miles. Plus, my experience with campgrounds has not been particularly good. I like my peace and quiet at the end of the day.

I figured that, unless Mrs. Bappo was riding tandem, or shotgun. I would love to travel around the country by cycle - my wife and I rode tandem when we first got married on a Yamaha Special 400 CC. Hated having to sell that bike for a car when the family started to grow.

One of these days, though I'm gonna get back on before it's too late.

There's a job for the birds - being a weatherman in Hawaii. ROFL - Would you believe there's one station that prides themselves on being "Hawaii's severe weather station" sheesh! Other than an occasional hurricane they haven't got a clue. Yes it rains now and then and it doesn't drain very quickly in some areas so there can be flash floods but honestly!.....

It appears, due to Hawaii not observing Daylight Savings Time, that the answer is 2 or 3 time zones, depending on the time of year. It would be 2 during Standard Time, 3 during Daylight Savings Time.

Good morning...started the morning with my first Whey protein shake...yummy (not really but also not terrible) For one week and I behave, follow the diet routine and give up my beer. I just hope to have half the success being touted by others that have done it. It's rainy again today, hope we don't get much as we were actually starting to dry out over here.

I believe I mentioned this before on the thread, but my brother pulled some "rough duty" when he was in the navy. He was an aerial photographer and was stationed out there for a couple terms of service. They flew him around the islands taking pics for PR work, ads and training films. Real rough duty...
