It makes me giggle!

And Dusty didn't you say that's a Schnauzer? I had a miniature Schnauzer named Sam for 8 years. I got him when I was 4. We grew up together. LOVED HIM! He traveled and lived all over the place with us when we were in the Navy. He flew in planes and was a part of our family. Very smart dogs. He got out of every fence my Dad erected. :) Although he slept with me every single night and would attack my brothers if they got rowdy with me. Sic 'em Sam!

Nice story, RJ! Yes, it's a standard Schnauzer and they are rated as some of the smartest dogs out there. Dogs with the Human Brain is what they're called.

Chak, yes she is only 5 weeks old right now. We'll be bringing her home in 3 weeks, once we get back from Mexico.

And a Good Morning to the rest of the Army.

Plans for the day:

- first off, is a visit to the local clinic. Last Sunday I was out checking on some property of my SIL's and while taking pictures of it's overgrown condition I backed into what was left of a young tree or bush. A sharp end found it's way into the lower left side of my left leg and broke off. Being a MMDMT*, I didn't even notice the "scratch" till I got back home to clean up and didn't notice the splinter till a couple of days and it started to fester.

Extracting splinters can sometimes be tricky at the least - especially if the end is not protruding out to grab with tweezers. I know many of you have experienced this if you've done a good amount of sliding across a wood floor in your stocking feet, or worked with wood, or even metal. However, having to operate on that part of your own leg with tweezers and a straight pin (sterilised, of course) with a bit of a pot belly and failing eyesight is no easy task. After much huffing and puffing, cursing and stretching, I got as much as I could out and cleaned and dressed the wound. Unfortunately, my efforts were not good enough and yesterday, after standing almost all day, my leg and foot were swollen and the wound is bright red, inflamed and draining again.

I'll let you know when I get back whether I still a leg to stand on or not.

Speaking of juice, I needs to place another order!! I'm thinking of adding a bottle of peppermint blast on this order. I might even get some DF to try :). I've not really been into the tobacco flavors but i have been thinking of trying some so I might as well get a bottle of something and start the steeping ;)

Uh, yep. Time to bring the leg in Chak. Let 'em throw it up on the rack and get a look see.

If you are gonna buy tobacco...get Dragon's Fire. It's universally liked. It's a good start.

Whelp, Doc says I can keep it - he don't want no hambone today. Also said he didn't see the need in lancing and/or exploring it and gave me a script for Amoksiklav and a caution to keep a good eye on it.

Well I had planned to have some videos and pics of the firework show but instead I had my hands full cuddling Diesel. He was sooooo scared lol

Aw, poor little, Diesel...

Just saw Dante posting on a thread :)

Hey that's cool! I bet he has no idea where the Army is at now.

I'm getting dizzy from all the dripping I've been doing. I've missed it. Think I'll go shower and watch the tube. My son leaves tomorrow morning and I've just about got him packed up. I already miss him and he hasn't even left yet! I'm going to be so bored without him.

Have a good evening Army!

Awww...I had a feeling Diesel would NOT like those loud noises.

I just realized that I don't think vapor coming out of my nose is very ladylike.

Even when I try to blow vapor (or smoke in the past) out of my mouth, some still comes out my nose!

Had another great day camping. Got a good pic of the moon tonight. Will try to post it tomorrow. I laid in the hammock for 3 hours reading today! Much needed R&R. Off to bed now to finish... yes, I said FINISH a book that I started just this week!

You could try Blade, which is a replica of Junior Mints candy

Simple solution, buy this shirt and let the nose vapor begin!
