Thanks Robin, I hope he can manage to pop in. I miss him. Stan, you're someone to look up to, with your faith and your attitude. God Bless You buddy!

Hula, 73/Stan is doing chemo pills right now. Next step is hospice :(
His spirits are up and he has a VERY strong faith in God. He is posting family pictures and bible quotes. I think those are the things that he is drawing strength from.

It's 10-15 and 1 hour ago I finished the ghastly Gavilyte C, all 1 gallon of it. Sheesh. I felt like I just won the tequila game, including banging the glass upside down on the counter and slowly sliding down the cabinet with a distinctly green face. Now to handle the next tough bit - not eating till I get outta there tomorrow. I'm soooo hungry I could even eat that thing wrapped in foil thats been in the fridge for 3 months.... I can't shake that image of a super large muffin and cup of coffee out of my head. Arghhhhhhhh!!!! LOL Have a great day everyone!

Good morning, Army, and GROWING ranks of Huntsman lovers:D!

huntsman-1.png

So much Huntsman in this catch-up...bookended by Chimps calling it "the PERFECT NET" (couple of great simians in the Army) and Bridget's BIL becoming a new recruit:2cool:! Huzzah for getting a paycheck once again to keep you stocked up with it, Chimps! Bridget, it really does just get better and better with steeping, moreso than with many other juices. Enjoy! And nice trade you made for some well-steeped craving-demolishing nectar, Iowa Gal!
Congrats on taking 50K, Slim:toast:!! Love that dreamy Diesel is part of that landmark:closedeyes:. I dug Chak's lead up to it, too...sorta like a post drumroll:laugh:.
Hula, I'm guessing that if you're reading this, it means you also have the procedure, um, behind you, and you've celebrated with a real cream donut or something tasty. Hope your hubby whips up one of your favorites for dinner tonight, even if it's tough to get your forum hubby, Biv, to stick around for long...
So glad that you're finally getting more sunshine, General!
Is the Lioness feeling better, Lion? I'm SO glad that you're having such a wonderful time on the River, and your pictures are fantastic!
Speaking of pictures, THANK YOU for those videos of Bella, Mr. Scarycamera! What a treat! Such an adorable little scamp! I can assure you that I'll never get enough of either of the new Army pups:).
Great that you're feeling at home in your new job, Bridget!
Nice score on the new pool cues, RJ; I love a bargain! Of course, I'm with you on loving searching for treasure in the thrift stores, too; department stores are so boring.
Yay for becoming a supporting member, Robin, and very cool that you helped another friend make the switch to vaping over on Facebook. Also, thank you for the update on 73; very rough to hear, but I'm thankful that his family and Faith are helping so much to bouy his spirits.
I've been bouncing around here a litttle less because of a recent spate of migraines (I feel so much for your daughter, Papaw); I've got an MRI set up for the end of the month. But they can't keep my from keeping up with this great little nook of the forum:).

Terrifically tasty Tuesday vapes to all :vapor:!

Aw, are you just trying to make me blush, Mr. Scarycamera? A very good morning to you, too, and thanks! You're so tech-savvy...couldn't you maybe sneak in a Skype session with Bella from work? Gonna need another Bella fix soon, myself... Found a good googly eye breakfast for you -

My wife is hemming and hawing about the fact that we will be leaving her in the crate while at work etc. "But that's so long". "Poor thing!". etc etc..

I'm not giving up ground on this.. Bella will be crate trained, period!

Right decision?!

Canines belong in cages.

Be strong, Hula. Everything will be over before you know it. Some HHV CinCity would do you well right now.

This would do Hula a lot of good too. It may help fend off the urge to eat if she saw that everything was looking at her. ;)

Here's my office for the day

zu9y2eza.jpg

I didn't realize how bad the air was down here until I saw the flash. I better go find my respirator. 3' crawl space filled with all sorts of creepy crawlies lol oh yeah it's gonna be 95 and humid out today. It's already 115 down here. I'm insulating those 2 iron heating lines on the right so the mor I insulate it should start cooling down.

Here is a random, awesome pic of my little niece singing Alicia Keys "This girl is on fire" at kid karaoke the other day :) god I love her

Hey MW, what sort if ventilation are you getting? Looks like a confined space to me.

Yeah it is a confined space. One entrance that was cut in under the basement stairs. There was ventilation and multiple access points when the asbestos was abated but the sealed it all up without thinking about reinsulating the abated pipes. I have a guy at the access point in case anything goes wrong

Be careful, my friend. I approve your decision to make use of a respirator, but it does inhibit breathing. May your insulation progress be swift!!
