Service was on Friday. Today's run did seem better, and yes I was back by 9am.

Hi, Army. Dozens of pages since I last posted here. It's been a year today since my last cig, and the first day I started vaping. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone here who kept me smiling and vaping over the past year. Such a great group. Have a great weekend!

Highlights of my weekend have been groceries, cooking, ironing, watching over ECF.. Nothing more to it, so I'll get my kicks where I can, thank you very much.

I had an audition today. I will be going back Friday for a call back. A nice talented group of guys. They are around my age, thank goodness. . They seem to have their stuff together and have a gig lined up for mid October. They had fired their lead female after some drama at a gig last Saturday. Looks promising and I got 4 songs to learn.

My thought is, it's a test to see if I am able and willing to put the work into it. I got my work cut out for me.

They understand that they need to get people up and dancing. So it's a good mix. Classic rock, southern rock, country crossover and even a couple of disco songs. All covers.

Today I did Proud Mary - Ike and Tina Turner, Dreams - Fleetwood Mac, and Black Velvet - Alannah Myles. Also backup vocals for We're an American Band, a Beatles medley and some other songs.

Cool, I'll listen to just about anything except rap, and I'm definitely not a Sinatra fan either .
