I went to VapeCon yesterday and it was really cool. Met a few of my ECF friends in the real world. Sadly, there were no other members of the Army as far as I know.

My impressions of Vapecon:
1 Way more people this year, perhaps twice as many. The venue is not big enough for the event.
2 More hardware vendors, fewer juice vendors. I was not too thrilled about that. Not much of use to me hardware-wise was available. RSSTs were for sale but I have all of those I want. I was really hoping to find a Russian 91 or KFL there (and I was prepared to pay mark up to have it right then) but no such luck...I did get a nice dripping atty, shield, and adapter extension and a couple of cool drip tips.
3 The juice vendors were better prepared to make sampling easy. Some of them had drip tip covers and mods set up with each juice in them. The number of juices I tried in a few hours, even with frequent breaks with water and iced tea to clear my taste buds, left my palette "confused". A steady diet of Huntsman for a couple of hours was required to set it right.
4 No HHV. Too bad. I hope they will consider coming next year, their juice would have been the star of the show. I let quite a few people try Huntsman and Dragon's Fire. They were quite impressed and I suspect some will be making their own orders.
5 Lots of genuine AW IMR batteries for sale. That was good to see. I am a strong believer in the safety and reliability of these batteries.
6 CASAA was there in the front room. They were greeting folks and I got to meet Kristin and thank her personally. She is a warm, kind person and we got to chat for a few minutes. We are blessed to have her as one of the leaders of CASAA.
7 I got to meet and talk to Phil Busardo, too. He is a good guy and seemed to be enjoying himself.

Sounds good but with the chilli talk I went and made a crock pot full. So I'll be having that today. And for you chilli people. I have mine with a slice of amercain cheese and some fresh diced onion. Oh and Fritos corn chips.

I forgot the Fritos! I bought some specifically for our chili and forgot all about 'em.

Just ordered 4 18650 IMR batteries from our man Wonderlite. ETA 10 - 14 days - probably about the same time as the KayFun Mini. Yee Hawww!!! :headbang::thumb:

Reminds me...I need more batteries soon. It'll have to wait until the new year. My ordering for 2013 is over.

Of course it does...anybody can read THAT! :p LMAO!

I see everyone is up and at it this morning.

Yep...I'm trying. Doing dishes and laundry now. Gotta go to my parents for dinner. And I'm gonna try real hard to go to Walmart for my grocery run. And then I want to put up all the Halloween stuff. WHEW! Busy day in store. I need more beer to get through it. :)

That Vapercon looked tight...lots of people...and lots of vapor in the air. I would love to go one day. Hell I just want to go to one of my local vape meets...start small. I plan on doing more stuff when my son can drive and I feel I can leave him alone. He can go get his own dinner then. I can't WAIT! ;)

RJ, I'm counting the days til Kal can drive. I made so many trips yesterday I lost count.

I put some stew meat and onions in the crock pot with onion, beef, and mushroom gravy mixes; to be served over mashed potatoes. Hope it turns out. I adapted the recipe from another one I found.

I did most of my housework yesterday so I'm going to loaf a lot today. I'm still using the same coil in my KFL, just changing the wicks when I change flavors. I neeeed another one. But I'm not gonna...

On the farm front, I'm selling eggs like crazy. The boys got their show pigs yesterday and are trying to make friends with em. They are cute when they are little pigs. 6 months from now, freezer camp.

ETA: I want to go to a vape meet. Going to have to look that up for my area.

If the one I ordered from Russia shows up, I am getting another from them. Then a Russian 91%, MW seems to be enjoying his a great deal!

Ironic, won't it be, getting Kayfun Lites from Russia, and Russian 91% from an US vendor...

I felt like I was living large when I could finally leave my son at home to go to the grocery store or bank or anywhere...as opposed to loading him up every single time and taking him with me. It will be a relief...and I will have more freedom when he can drive. But him driving will be a big stressor all on its own.

Oh crap, I totally agree. He wants to drive all the time now, and while DH has no problem giving up the control, I DO! I haven't let him drive my Honda yet, but I'm going to have to soon.

The driving teenager is the biggest parenting hurdle I've had since they started school.

I'm letting her drive as often as I can, figuring the more time she gets with me the safer she'll be when she's on her own. We have quite the process:

Broadway show tunes on Pandora (she's a little bit of a drama/theater geek), buckled up and mirrors etc adjusted. Me with a full tank of DF and fully charged twist. I hold her hand and we pray. Well, I pray and she rolls her eyes :)... It's just a simple, please watch over us and keep us safe.

Today we are doing 1 hour of freeway each direction. And I am grateful I started vaping in front of her.

Crap.. Now I'm nervous!!

You should add a line to your prayer. "Please don't let her do the things I did in my heyday"

Driving up nude to McDonalds drive through will usually make it to Twitter or FB these days.. ;)

Other than that, I'm sure she'll be alright!

Earlier this year seven cars were robbed one night, either side of our house but not ours. Tools, phones, CD's, whatever they could pickup. One of our neighbors asked if we had lost anything, and I didn't even know at the time what had happened. It was his wife who said.
"Are you joking ? They have two huge black German Shepards running loose inside that invisible fence over there !"
Trust me, RJ, Shepards are loving pets, unless you don't belong there. They are intelligent, easy to train, and very faithful to their owners. And they can destroy anything that invades it's territory. I love mine, they make great pets.

I got a dog named .357 Magnum. :D

Have you tried laughing at your spirit? It might be enjoying the anger..... Just a thought. It would freak me out too.
No Robin , I try to ignore it as much as possible but sometimes it's too damn aggravating to ignore . It's seeking attention but until or if I'm certain of it's intentions it might not be wise to acknowledge or provoke too much , I'm no psychic so I'm not sure if it's a who or an it that I'm dealing with .

The KFL's are actually made in Deutschland.
