Man, Blueberry Muffin has me wondering what I've missed in blueberry vapes. Only other ones I ever tried were Tasty Vapor's Blueberry Pie (which was so yummy I never sought out another blueberry vape) and Pink Spot Blueberry Cheesecake (the less said about which, the better). This is freak-out good.

Sandwiches for Z-Ghost and GT, and blackcurrant cordial for Burly. Who else wants in? I need to take a cleaning break soon though...house needs a little attention.

This really is one of my favorite things to eat: a plate of good cold cuts, good cheeses and good bread, washed down with good beer. And blackcurrant cordial:)

Now I really do need something to eat, I think I have some hotdogs left. :(

That Blue Berry Muffin winks at me every time I pass by. I may have to get a sample.

I've got plenty of well-steeped HT, Gollum, Gandalf and Java Smooth, so it's not like I don't have anything to vape. But I was hopeful that maybe the PB and CAT would be good 1/2 way through the week. I'll probably just leave all the new ones at home steeping, and maybe the spousal unit will even shake them for me a couple of times.

Maybe you can get the spousal unit to shake for you. Woo Hoo!!!!

We actually have one of the best bottle shops in the country at our local markets: http://www.plonk.net.au/

They have an astonishing beer selection from UK, US, Germany, Belgium, Japan. Plus heaps and heaps of cider.

The Asian shop here, in addition to all the usual Japanese/Chinese/Malay stuff, somewhat bizarrely also carries a pretty extensive assortment of American candies. So sometimes in addition to my oolong tea and curry powder and noodles, I'll walk out with something totally incongruous like a packet of Hot Tamales or Reese's peanut butter cups. LOL.

amed after Dr. Burrill B. Crohn, who first described the disease in 1932 along with colleagues Dr. Leon Ginzburg and Dr. Gordon D. Oppenheimer, Crohn’s disease belongs to a group of conditions known as Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD). Crohn’s disease is a chronic inflammatory condition of the gastrointestinal tract.

When reading about inflammatory bowel diseases, it is important to know that Crohn’s disease is not the same thing as ulcerative colitis, another type of IBD. The symptoms of these two illnesses are quite similar, but the areas affected in the gastrointestinal tract (GI tract) are different.

Crohn’s most commonly affects the end of the small bowel (the ileum) and the beginning of the colon, but it may affect any part of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, from the mouth to the anus. Ulcerative colitis is limited to the colon, also called the large intestine.

Are you on a strict med regimine? And how effective is it? Going foodless for five days doesn't suggest it always works.

EDIT: Disregard. You answered it already.

It's been a pain.
Prednisone and pain pills were my friends for a long time.
They now have me on Humira now and that seems to be working.
I'm around 80% of normal as far as eating goes.
I know a lot of people that have it really bad.
Most people get it when they are kids and I think I did too but it went in to remission.
Then flared back up in 2005 and gave me hell for 7 years.

I know where all the hospitals and bathrooms are from Texas to Yellowstone.

Getting off cigs has helped a lot too, smoking messes with the Chron's.

Lots of foods that are bad for me, one being popcorn.
Giving up popcorn was almost as hard as quitting cigs with out using ecigs.

I heard a story on NPR about IBD. Apparently a new treatment is being developed involving genetically modified bacteria. They have a protein strand that stops the immune system from attacking the colon. Hopefully it will prove successful.

I'm glad he's off the prednisone. That's a wonderful drug for many things, but long term use is just flat out no good.

If you don't try them now, how will you know if they get better?? :D

So true! These are evolving in a most interesting and good way! The only one so far that I'm not real excited about is Heavenly, but I'll give it a week or two more LOL. I vape each flavor at 2 or 3 different settings on my twist before going on to the next one. Well, maybe I've actually been chain vaping them all and it's only day #3 :p

They did not really have a med for Chron's when I first got it and what they use has some really nasty side effects or does not work at all.
Right now most are biologicals or Immune modifiers.
Humira is tumor necrosis factor (TNF) inhibitors.
It works by blocking the action of TNF, a substance in the body that causes inflammation and is the only thing that has worked on me.
I have to give myself a shot every 2 weeks and this stuff burns like acid
In the last 7 years I have been in the hospital 5 times dealing with flare ups.

Have not had a flair up since starting the Humira.

I want the recipe! I want it now!!!!

It's not really a scientific process, I just kind of play it by ear. I buy canned chipotles in adobo sauce. I use one can for approximately 2lbs of ground round. I then fill the empty can with water, pour it in the meat and chop up the peppers with a spatula. Let it thicken and pig out.
