Nom nom nom - pork pies, sausage rolls, real cream doughnuts, cornish pasties....aaahhhhh

I actually found a recipe to make sausage rolls with, i'll have to find it and send it to you, because it was american ingrediants, which being in hawaii you might have issues finding. My wife was surprised when she came home to sausage rolls that day. Oh oh oh A bean and cheese pasty! Cornish pasty sounds good too, and some british bacon!!

My wife will make Yorkshire puddings from time to time, I shouldnt be hungry its midnight here LOL.

Good night Army!!

Hi Army. I've been busier than a one-legged man in an ...-kicking contest. Still am. Just want to drop in and say hello and hope y'all are enjoying your holiday weekend.

Say Fran, you say you're new to the area. I'm assuming you heard what C.A.R.Y. stands for by now????

I know that N.A.V.Y. stands for Never Again Volunteer Yourself Again, but you got me on C.A.R.Y., Bronze?

C.A.R.Y = Containment Area for Relocated Yankees! LOL and I think it is Hilarious!!!!!

I like your stories Chak. You have a colorful and interesting past. You are a hoot! ;) I met some homeless guys like you at the plasma center, along with all walks of life to the college students to the Moms and Dads to the business suit types to the couples needing extra money. It was a very interesting and eye opening experience for me and I enjoyed talking to those folks and watching movies as they pumped plasma. My son had a Christmas that year without me going into debt...that's all that matters to me. :) Gotta do whatcha gotta do ya know? I quit smoking for 7.5 months during that time.......my longest quit until vaping.

:vapor:

Huh? I am not sure he deserved that....

They always break containment. Then they start doing the same dumb Yankee crap that ruined the place they fled south from.

I try not to judge them. I am only Southern by the Grace of God...

Sorry :(

Are you having a wonderful weekend?

I'm burnt. We spent the day at Typhoon Lagoon yesterday. Long day.

Nothing at all to be sorry for! Good to hear from you. Sorry you are burned. I am sending you "Aloe Vera Waves" of thought. Feel better?

I am at work. I came in for a bit since no one would be here. Of course, our new Contract Administrator is here. She is just a bundle of questions.

Now I appreciate her dedication to her job and trying to get ahead. I have tried politely to let her know that I am not here today to chat about her and her boyfriends trip to Myrtle Beach, how confusing AIA contracts are, why it does not make sense for us to do our paperwork in duplicate because the owner "wants it in paper" when our electronic records can be printed at any time (she is right about that one).

Sigh.

They say they got tired of being overtaxed when they lived in NY, MD, CT, MA (or wherever up north they came from) so they moved to NC and then vote for pols who raise their taxes. Amazing!

It is an eye opening experience, isn't it? If I hadn't gone through that and gone home after doing my time in the Navy, I wouldn't be where and who I am now. I must way though, it's probably a good thing I was single at the time. I wouldn't have wanted a wife or child to go though that ordeal. You are an astounding woman and fantastic mom to have gone through the fire and come out on top! I solute you, RJ!

Not sure I do either...

Good Morning Army It's Saturday ! More heavy rains here last night, the ground is completely saturated. So much standing water the entire area becomes a mosquito farm. By the time it dries out I'll need a bush hog to mow the lawn !
Anyways, hoping everyone has a Safe and Blessed Day today :)

Sorry to hear you have Thailand's weather conditions there, Papaw! Hope you dry out soon. Save the taters, they're drowning!!! :D

Chak did say he was homeless for a bit living under an overpass or something.... ;)

Good morning all!

Thanks, Robin. Yes, I was, but it was rather like camping out downtown. ;) Thank God it wasn't Michigan, in the winter! :D

Yup, then we come to Southeast Asia to wreak hacek! bwauhahaha

Sorry :(

Hey! Where'd everybody go?

Oh, RJ is still here. Hi RJ!

EDIT: She was there, I swear to it!

Oh, update on the productiveness of today's power wash! A six foot by seven foot section of the drive was successfully cleaned! So there! :p

In other news...

Believe it, or not, I made my first T3 atty rebuild today in spades! Reading 1.9 ohms and roasting El Toro Guevara to a T. :headbang:

(Rather like having Hair of the Dog, El Toro was the juice that killed the atty in the first place. Lots of gunk and the coil snapped during a dry burn!)

Also revisiting some juices that I haven't had in a while...

Fire_Dragon.jpg

... some with a twist, like medium menthol...

Yum!

Good morning, Army:)!

So glad you got to work on that three-toed sloth impression, Hula! I hope the rest of you get to work on yours a bit this weekend, as well!
DJ American J and Hula have me craving (wrongly-teased:glare:) English grub so much that I have to find my way to my favorite pub in Santa Monica this weekend. No one in all of history has made better Yorkshire pudding than my grandma did, but, believe it ir not, this place actually makes incredible gluten-free sausage rolls:drool:.
High praise for Diesel from out Army feline (and not-so-bad :censored:;)) really lets you know that that's one special pooch, Slim!
Get that pup you're wanting, Chak! I'll second your salute to RJ and add one to you for all you got through! And congrats on that atty rebuild:2cool:.
Routing so much for you get that great new chapter in Houston soon, MrPicC.
You garden sounds just glorious, Papaw! We grow some mighty tasty tomatoes and apricots, but I'd sure love to have some of the fresh veggies that you do.
Not gonna be nearly so thorough as Chak, but I wish you all a very lovely weekend!

Succulent Saturday vapes to all :vapor:!

It was more of a bonding moment actually, nothing sinister meant. Chak has a PM. ;)

It is so strange that our state has been covered up in rain for days, but it seems my town has an invisible barrier around it not letting any rain in. I've only had a couple of small showers here. It's like the radar shows this big rain storm coming, and it dissipates before reaching me or splits to go on either side. Very strange indeed. :?:
