I thought so Lion. For the exact reasons you listed. But now she's pleading poverty. Maybe she could wear one of your cheerleader gigs and collect some money from admirers.![]()

Well cleaning someone else's house will get you out of yours. I know you miss 'em. Take some comfort that you loved them fiercely while you had them.
There is some consolation, they didn't want to go home yet.
I am sending you a virtual hug rather than a cheerleader outfit today.
I cannot promise continued good behavior tomorrow, however.
No, they are as heartsick as you are. It is a shame they do not live closer, but in some ways that makes you really soak up every second to maximize them when you have the chance. In a couple of days, the sting will be less and the consolation will remain. Chin up, soldier. You did good.
And since I've been full bore for all those years, I'll take some of the downtime and gladly enjoy it!I am still in the midst of my chaos. I know damn well I will miss it. I feel like I am gonna lose my right arm in 13 months.

Robin.. my mom cries.. balls.. every time I leave her house in Florida with the girls. She's gotten better over the years. I wish we had lived closer to her while they were growing up. It makes me sad too.
I am too. I'm lost when the kids are gone. I forget to eat! No one bugging me with "what's for dinner?" Sadie promises to never move out. She probably won't either, she's very attached to me and her home.. and her dog.
I think it's sweet though.I hate it when my son is gone!!! He innocently said the other day that he thinks he'll just live in my basement and why would he ever leave he says. I said well what about when you marry and have a wife? He said she can live down there too! He just doesn't understand the connotation that a man living in his Momma's basement conjurs up.I think it's sweet though.
My chaos has calmed down a lot. My son is 13 and all he cares about is food and friends and Xbox. We pass each other in the hall every now and then. And since I've been full bore for all those years, I'll take some of the downtime and gladly enjoy it!
What happens in 13 months Edd?

You're a sweet son.
Oldest goes to school. Either JMU or Va Tech most likely.
