I have thoroughly enjoyed my day off. Refilled tanks, did laundry, read my book. We have a severe thunderstorm watch in effect.. I hope it hits us hard!

April had to laugh at the 'forget to eat comment. I'm with RJ-- never happens to me! I shouldn't eat for a week after this week of vacation. I'll be starving for the next week getting back to normal amounts of food!

It's crazy how fast that thing dries up in this heat. I just leave it empty till I want to use it. Which isn't often. Who wants to sit out there when it feels like this. My next house needs a pool.

I gotta admit though...if my son wasn't here I would eat LESS. Because if I cook I'm gonna eat. And I have to cook a lot for him. He's a human vacuum cleaner with food. Sucks it right up. I've gained a few pounds...I really need to watch that and exercise more before I blossom. But with my age it's getting harder and harder to keep it off.
I think breathing air makes me gain weight. 
And my Mom is alllllll about food. She's always trying to get us to eat. It's the South and we eat like it! And the Mexican food lunches with my girlfriend sure aren't helping matters.
