Sorry to hear that Chimps. Your mom must be feeling really terrible bad. Your attitude is a wonderful one because I guarantee she feels absolutely gutted to have done that. Good luck with the repairs. Car trouble is the one thing my husband cannot handle, he stresses over that more than anything else - and between the two of us, we've had plenty of stressful things occur through the many years. Hang in there!

IG, sorry to hear about a creepy stalker trying to get their fill of pics of your family. Hopefully they will find the vaping stuff to be not to their liking and move on to some other, less interesting person to stalk.

For those of you not on the FaceSpace, I've been mostly absent the past few days trying to get estimates on fixing the Acadia after Mom (who is not used to driving something that "big") slid a pole at the gas station along the door and rear quarter panel. We are avoiding claiming it with insurance, as I don't think that it makes sense to pay a higher payment each month for the next few years...although with the $1000ish estimates we have gotten to get it all fixed up, I'm beginning to question whether I'll be buying any new vape stuff in the next 6-8 months. I can't be mad, it is my mom and all, but still, it is frustrating that after all the babying that the Acadia has seen since we took it from the lot it wasn't even me or the wife that damaged it...

As I type this, Chloe has gone to the neighbours house and Bella has passed out just outside her crate in my Den.

Lots of whining and searching, looking for her siblings and mother. But she comes when I call her and seems to take some solace when I carry/pet her. Also climbs into my wifes lap and makes herself comfortable. That's how she fell asleep, and my wife placed her outside her crate. She's absolutely adorable!!

So I'm having a green apple Smirnoff martini (yes really...I mean really I am...) with a sour apple martini mixer and ginger ale in my new MARTINI GLASS! I bought three at the thrift store for 50 cents a piece!!!!!!! Like I told my girlfriend I will surely spill this one day. YUM! Having the proper vessel makes it all seem more, oh I don't know...snazzy! Beats my Styrofoam cups! Perfect ending to a perfect day. I also bought a mirror with a wrought iron scroll/leaf frame. LOVE IT! I think it was only ....................99 CENTS!

I hate car trouble too....I feel so helpless and I hate it. My son's friend's grandmother was driving down my driveway in her new SUV and got off track and scraped her car against my brick driveway wall. 8-o I felt so bad because my driveway is difficult and it's easy to get to one side.

Everybody shush..the little one fell asleep. She was playing with me, and fell asleep with her head sideways on my leg and one paw wrapped around my calf.

I let her stay there until she was in a deep sleep and have just relocated her to her crate. She's still sleeping..so tread lightly!

We're all already very much in love with her.

Rosses (and Marshalls in other areas) plus Etsy are about the last places I can find happy colorful things. When I walk into the average department/furniture store, my immediate impression in the "home furnishing departments" is "Crikey, what ARE they doing? This is great decor ....if you're planning on kitting out a Victorian Funeral Parlor...." It's all bleh and blah and and beige or black or brown and boring.
