I got exactly zero progress on power cleaning the drive today. Not only did I get a late start by staying up till 3 AM last night, I also had to rebuild our extension cord and of course, that means a drive out to Home Pro. I get back from there and Mama Chak needs some plants moved and another table and chairs out on the pavilion. I get the cord fixed and it's off to the nursery to get more pot stands for a couple of plants.

Productive day I suppose, but no progress on the drive.

Good morning, Army:)!

Woke up to a rainy day, HT, and coffee. :) Putting off the daily run until it clears out. DH brought me a huge case of peaches from the Amish community, so I'm going to try making some peach jam as there's no way we can eat them all before they go bad. Laundry and groceries on the 'to do' list also for today. Hope everyone has a great day!

OK, I need a new charger for my twists.. the green light comes on when I first plug it in and I know the battery is dead.. Recommendations?

And yes, I cleaned the threads of the battery and charger. Still goes from red (charging) to green (charged) within a few minutes.

Try cleaning the connections with 91% isopropyl alcohol. Use a q-tip and give it a good scrubbing. Let it dry and try again.

If you need a replacement, I strongly recommend you make sure it is a genuine joyetech charger, and keep a sharp eye on the battery the first few times you charge.

Bella discovered her reflection in the full length mirror this morning as we came in from our walk, and I discovered that she has a pretty substantial bark for her size.. She took two steps back, went wuff, then two steps forward AND BARK! pause BARK! BARK!!

She keeps going back to check if that truant dog has left, and barks at it some more..

Too funny.. :D

I did clean it with alcohol. Feeling some heat from the charger tho, even tho the light is green. Hopefully I can find a B&M open today. I will make sure it is Joyetech. Thanks.

You sure the connection is not pushed in?! Battery could be shorted.

I think Diesel knows I hired a professional trainer, he has been almost perfect the last couple days, I love it!

Th trainer gave me a few simple tips over the phone and now I feel like the dog whisperer lol he is listening very good and I've learned to calm him down before he gets too excited :)

One of my fave army members made a sweet trade with me :) she's sending me a cool trippy tip for some of my well steeped Huntsman

Thanks Iowa!

Not sure exactly what you mean by pushed in, but the connection inside the charger moves around a bit.

I meant the centre post on the battery.. they tend to get pushed in with the constant screwing on of atomizers etc. Use a small paperclip and gently pry the connector up a bit. See if that resolves the issue.

It has been charging for the last 45 min after fiddling with it for a while.. Not touching it now! Headed out to get a new one tho. Thanks for the tips.

That I would like to have seen.

Yup, she always amazes me with well each pic fits into the thread.

I had two chargers like that, they'd stay green after hooking up a dead battery. Luckily I had another on hand. I don't think the first two were genuine Joyetech.

Howdy Army

<steps in - looks around - nothing to say - moves on>

Howdy, Biv! Pull up a chair and set a spell.

Haha, You and Dusty need to get some videos going.

Not sure exactly what you mean by pushed in, but the connection inside the charger moves around a bit.

If the contact pin has been pushed in on either the bat or the charger, they want make contact. Not quite sure how that would make the green light come on constantly.

It would make contact, but if the pin was pushed in too far, it would also contact the inside of the casing and cause a "short" situation by sliding past the rubber gasket separating the positive and negative terminals. That would be the main reason for the charger showing "green" all the time.

Edit: I'll try and get a video of Bella's reflection barking! :)

You're welcome and I'm anxious for the Huntsman:D I think you are going to be more than happy you've decided to work with a trainer. Diesel is such a beautiful dog but due to his size you must remain in command...
