I wasn't implying anything. It was the first thought that came to my mind. There was nobody in mind when it went from my brain to my fingertips and out.
I need to come home (here) and vent a bit.
Some goofball is upset that no one is jumping on his little threads about thanking the inventors of the ecig. I'm sorry, but there are more important things in life. We've lost 2(!) people and my personal opinion is that the people here are what's keeping me from smoking again. Damn it hurts to think that over time I will lose more of you if God forbid I don't go before you.

I haven't read that thread. I learned the first e-cigs were around in the 50's and were designed to deliver medication to patients. It petered out. Something tells me the e-cig inventors are doing just fine without our praise. Where I come from, the inventor praises the ones who made them wealthy.

I've been in a kinda funk lately and the vent here helped. I did post a couple of times on that thread but the last post I got a wee bit personal on how we, over here, have lost a couple of people in the last year and that if one looks, one can find people caring about others. That we are family and friends and THAT is what's important.

Sounds like the chap hasn't been on forum very long but doesn't sound very likeable to begin with. Friendships develop with time. After all, I remember someone saying about a thread that they didn't go over there too often because they're always talking about lawnmowers and stuff like that.

I saw those threads, but knew better than to open any of them. Life is too short.
Maybe because it's an $8,000,000,000 per year industry. And that's just the NFL, not counting what TV, Clothing Manufacturers, Sporting Equipment Outlets, Beer, Snack Foods, etc., etc., etc.

Funny you should say that Papaw - I am missing Becky too! I hope she didn't take umbrage at a post I made joking to Bronze about his loin cloth and bone in his nose, as that's ALL I was referring to, and definitely NOT the wonderful Stanley family band video she's so thoughtfully reposted for us.
