Thanks guys...crying my eyes out as I type this but that's ok cause I need to do that when I'm in my quiet place. My dad was so sad and unhappy the past few weeks..it was time and although yesterday was really a shock to us it was right, he didn't deserve to suffer any more. We have many beautiful memories. His wish was cremation an no big fancy send off so we are going to take a couple of weeks to get our feet back on the ground then we will have a gathering of family and friends to share the wonderful memories. You are all more support than you will ever know and I really appreciate that.
It's tough IA. Keep crying your eyes out. One day when you think of your Dad it will be with a smile on his face and not the sadness you have seen in the past few weeks. Trust me.
Sounds like you have a good memorial plan in place.
