Hate to break into a thread that seems like it's own little community. I love reading it though so had to tell you that...

I am a noob. Can't completely just vape, most juices taste like perfume or something else I do not like. Can't find one that I love.

Have never liked what "tobacco" juices I have purchased. Do not want it to taste like an analog, don't like them now!!

So....ordered 8 samples from HHV. Sorry (don't throw rotten veggies at me) but Gandalf is too strong for me. Too pipe tobacco, but that is how it is described.

Jazz- It sounds like you are part of the Heavenly Army now which means you are in the right place! Welcome! HT and Ga Peach are two of my favorites... I have many, but those two are on my reorder list always.

A lot of us are big Gandalf lovers here. It's okay if you are not in love with it. That just means there is more for us!!! It is an acquired taste that is possibly better suited to more experienced vapers, IMHO. Keep him in your vape box and bring him out and say hello sometimes. Gandalf is your friend.

I am sure I can speak for us all when we say we aren't a closed community. Just a community that RAVES over Heather and her wonderful juices. Post here all you want. We would love to hear your experiences.

PS- getting sucked into this thread is a great way to rapidly raise your post count too!!!

Placed a big order last night for Heavenly Tobacco and Georgia Peach Tobacco. I cried when they were gone! Think I can get off the analogs with HHV juices.

Even the couple that I wasn't thrilled with, there was nothing wrong with them. Just not my thing.

Also ordered Angels Kiss (nice light vape) and forget the little samples, I ordered small sizes of Caramel Apple Tobacco, Waffles and Blueberry Muffin. Had a bunch more but my credit card was gasping.

Can't wait and I want to thank each and every one of you (and a very helpful person who PM'd me about HHV) I have found THE company that will most likely get all my future orders.

Well Jazz...you came to the right thread. There are lots of friendly people here that are glad to help you with your juice choices and even equipment issues if you have them. You'll be surprised that once people get to know you a little how they can direct you in the right place to improve your odds on finding a juice you like. Let me start out by asking what kind of juice you have been vaping. PG/VG ratio and nicotine to be specific. And tell me the flavor(s) you like the most.

I make no recommendations concerning Halo, either for or against. I was always afraid to try them, because (a) they're expensive, and (b) many many people found their base tasted like insect repellent. (8-o)

I'm not quite sure what possessed me to try their (newish) Turkish, other than the fact that I love Turkish tobaccos. I love Halo's Turkish. And, according to Bill Herbst and other Halo dislikers, Turkish doesn't have that same bug-spray base. I certainly don't get any bug spray from it. Not even a wisp of Citronella!

Is that the only Halo juice you vape?

Yes. Although their Belgian Cocoa is really good, too -- it's a choco flavor I can actually taste.

I actually thought chocolate might be the next branch up on my juice tree. Gandy kind of taught me that. I have some Oompa sleeping in a cool dry place right now. I'll break her out in the next day or two. So I guess that will be my first intro into chocolate. I'm sure choco flavors vary as much as anything else. I'm a chocoholic, but that doesn't necessaily translate into vapor. So we'll see. Right now I just want a few go to vapes that I can rotate. HHV is getting me there quick. I have all kind of samples sitting around steeping or on their way. Already tried a bunch of samples. So we'll get there eventually. And BTW, I am 100% with you on the perfume/floral stuff. Just cannot go there.

Chocolate is definitely not the vape for me. At least that has been my experience. Admittedly, I have not tried a chocolate from HHV. Still not sure if I want to go down that dead end road again.

Okay... maybe just ONE small 15Ml sample then.

I have always ordered 50/50, it seems to work for me. 18mg nicotine, tried some 24mg since I am a very heavy smoker, but it was too strong (made me ill)

The only juices I can vape all day has been RY4 and Strawberry. Tried a sample of the same company's waffle and I loved it. But instead of re-ordering decided to throw on a sample from HHV to see how I like it.

Tonight the Strawberry tasted ehh to me.

I loved the Ga. Peach Tobacco and Heavenly Tobacco more than anything I have tried. (and I have two shoeboxes filled with small samples and larger bottles of stuff I thought I would like)

Huntsman is good stuff, I enjoyed it while I had it.

Vaping away on Gollum right now, and just killed my battery, gotta get a fresh one out of the bag.

Oh, and for those talking about steeping Gandalf...just vape it! It's still good! I think even better when fresh, but do what you will, taste is subjective (and in your case torturous!)

I despise oompa, don't know why, I think its the chocolate. Any suggestions on which ones I should try next?

I fell in love with Dragon's Fire after it steeped a coupla weeks. I just ordered more. It's
my favorite evening vape so far.

Then again, I have some Gandolph, Pirate's Booty, Huntsman and Dark Horse steeping.
They had no flavor on arrival, so I gave them a hot bath and threw them in the closet
for a coupla weeks. Not much change after the first week.

Gandalf is the winner for me. Always have it loaded in something. Trying out Oompa currently.

Besides Gandalf, I am really liking Huntsman and Mocha Java Smooth. Working my way through all the purity line, well except for the new Shadowfax and Gollum as they weren't available on my last order. I do like that the sample size is 15 ml.

Lots of good ones to try. Check out the rest of her tobaccos...Huntsman, Dark Horse, Dragon's Fire, Caramel Apple Tobacco, Heavenly Tobacco. Also her two new tobaccos, Gollum and Shadowfax. The Gollum is most excellent. I don't think they are offering the new ones in sample sizes yet. If you feel a little risky, spring for the smallest sized Gollum. That one is pretty dang good and has the best chance of being a hit.

Got the Dark Horse going this morning. Not bad. Rather unjazzy. Not a whole lot of flavor...maybe even less than Pirate's to me. But extremely smooth. Perhaps one of their smoother vapes. Kind of refreshing in a way. Absolutely nothing offensive about it. I have such a hard time in the morning vaping. Just too much to start my day. I still haven't found one that I can wake up to. Maybe this is the ticket. And maybe stay with the 12mg. Or maybe go back to the Pirate's for a morning vape. Just thinking out loud. They should make an emoticon for "thinking out loud".

I feel the same way. I can barely vape at all in the morning, although I never had any issues smoking analogs as soon as I woke up. The great thing, at least in my experience so far, is that when I can't vape I don't feel stressed out. I know it's waiting for me!

The Dark Horse doesn't explode with flavor like Gandy or Dragon's Fire (like this one too!), but it's so smooth. I can take a drag or two in the early morning to help jump start the day. Usually after a couple of hours, I'm good to vape.

Yeah, I'm thinking I would prefer Pirates over Dark Horse. I find Dark Horse to be utterly uncontroversial. I cannot imagine anyone saying this sucks. It's just rather basic. Not much of a flavor profile. She did a good job of taking an extracted tobacco and shaping it into what she did. I can't imagine extracted tobacco this uncontroversial. Everyone I had has a punch to it in some way or another. It is a great mindless vape. If you just want some TH and nicotine. IMO (take it for what it's worth), if you like Gandy, I see no way you wont like Pirate's Booty. They are very much in the same vein to me. With that, you could skip the sample size on Pirate's and just get the 15 mL bottle and feel relatively safe. Again, just my opinion..

I see HHV's website is now showing 55 e-juice flavors. I could swear it was 57 after she added Shadowfax and Gollum. I wonder which juices got the axe?
