Liquids arived today, they all smell delicious. Only did try gandalf so far but im not getting this liquid.
I taste the cherry undertone, but that undertone is the complete liquid, theres nothing else then that light sugary cherrie flavor?
Shipping was 10 days so it had a bit of steeping allready.

Leave the cap and top off for two days. Come back to it then.

That's great news! Have to choose your dentists wisely - I had a "maintenance list" put together by a "quality dentist" that would have cost me ....$4,200 out of pocket!!! (in addition to covered dental insurance coverage) WHAT? I wasn't experiencing any problems, no gum disease, all healthy, no chemo or radiation messing me about, nuthin'. Went to another dentist. He did a thorough checkup - cost = 0. No work was needed.

Good news is that I found a good dentist. We put together a viable plan to put my mouth back together, and I will get to keep most of my teeth.

Gandalf III - Grassier: has more of a Huntsman tone to it now than it did in its previous lives with some sort of subtle undertone of ...hmmmm....I hate to say cherry, because it isn't but hints of something along those line. Liquid arrived green, (too raw) changed to a glowing amber color and flavor started settling. Is now a darker amber tone and the undertone has that velvety chocolate/vanilla/coffee note to it but still distinctly Huntsman or maybe Dark Horse (haven't tried the little brother DH as I'm too partial to big brother)..

Gandalf II - Serendipity: Sweet: This one gets really really really dark with a heavy chocolate note at the height of its maturity.

Gandalf I - available by request as Gandalf I or "Original Gandalf". Bland to start with - and I expected it would be as the extract is less. I haven't allowed it to mature as fully as it should but it's coming along nicely. The caramel chocolatey coffee-ish flavor is hinted at during my vaping tryouts, but it will need another week or so before I can be definitive as to whether this equates to Post # 2 of this wonderful thread. So far, so good though! Needs to turn a little darker in color I think.

All 3 need steeping for a good 3 weeks imo though Serendipity would taste good sooner because it's so heavy later.

Hope that is helpful. I may have been one of the first to get the original Gandalf this time round as I emailed Adam at the same time Mr Mann had communicated with him. So I'll be interested in hearing other folk's views and will update again in a week for Gandalf I.

Like everyone said you need to take the caps and tips off and let them sit open for at least 24 hours, this will let the alcohol evaporate.
After that put the caps and tips back on the bottles and shake them up every now and then and give them a week.
It's like good bourbon, the flavors need time to mix and blend together.

Just finished off my bottle of Gollum....hmm what else do I have to vape? I have some Georgia Peach but that deserves it's own atty. Jiggy, that's it. I just put some well aged Jiggy in my clearo that I've been vaping Gollum out of for 2 weeks. Pretty outstanding combo straight out of the gate. I love how Heather's vapes can meld if you mix them right (don't mix peach with gollum, etc)

The Army reels in another one. I'm working with a guy on PM now. Just another day in the office, huh Army?

Add two more. I made a couple converts to HHV at work this week. For those who love tobacco flavored vapes, if the PB or SF doesn't get them, the dipity does.

I've heard it said that the steeping doesn't really start until after the "mandatory" two day cap off shake/steep, shake/steep ritual. At least with these alcohol extracted tobaccos. I'm a believer! Several subtle flavor notes will slowly sprout as the "cherry" slowly fades into the background. It's quite a lovely process. I almost envy your starting at the very beginning. :)

Hey there night peeps :) The root canal I had finished today is giving me grief, woke me out of a dead sleep. Trying to get it to calm down with some PB and painkillers.

Sorry to hear Ice. These posts by you and and the Lt. Colonel are reminding me how badly I need to go get my filling redone. It's been hurting when I bite down on something hard but I've put the dentist off ever since my last cleaning. My mate at work just had a tooth break while he was eating a cheeseburger and said it only hurt prior to that when he bit down hard on something.

Better get that looked at. In my experience, those things don't get better

Sorry to hear that, I know what that is like and it's hard to get it to go away once it's gotten started.
I had one that cracked and they tried to fix it, I took 10 vicodin over the coarse of 16 hours, I was washing them down with Jack Daniel's.
After 14 hours I said enough is enough and just had it pulled.
My Dentist told me that it might not work and even gave me his home phone number, he pulled it on a Sunday afternoon.
When he was done he asked me if I had any pain pills left, when I told him I only had 4 left he almost hit the floor.
He told me that would kill a normal person, then gave me 6 more.

I really hope it calms down for you.
