Gandalf is the most "pipey". Shadowfax is very light weight tobacco. Pirate's Booty, Dragon's Fire, and Shadowfax all three are probably not tobacco like you would normally think of tobacco. They're "exotic" blends.

Which of the NETs do not have additional flavorings added in your opinion?

I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'.

Just a reminder. Wifey was still vaping this when I rescued it for a refill. Just sayin.

Buggs will back me up on this vender, I think. She says she tasted "Cedar" in the RY4. IDK. I believe she also said Banana Nut Bread was good too.

Yep, there is a touch of anise (black licorice) and a slight cedar finish in MBV's RY4 - it's really good, but you have to let it steep 2 or 3 weeks, IMO. The Banana Nut Bread is spot on. You'd swear you just had a mouthful of fresh baked BNB when you vape it. The Caramel Apple is also spot on. Caramel Candy was one of my favorites. Peach tastes like a real peach. Moo Juice was good, but I don't think it aged well. Thug Juice was interesting for a change up type of vape. I wish I could still vape their stuff, but my PG sensitivity just got so bad I can't tolerate even the minimum in my vapes.

I know it sounds wrong to vet vapers but to us newbies sometimes we just want that burnt paper nasty/great tasting analog. I hope I outgrow it though with time.

Most important thing Rise is to do what you have to! Often tastes will meander but the most important flavors are the ones that help you stick it to big tobacco!

That's with the wicks all separated into individual strands. Wicks like a big dog.

I just tried Bronze's suggestion of adding a piece of wick over top of the coil. With 100% VG I was getting some dry hits, but that seems to have cured the issue. I take it that separating the wicks like that helps as well.. I'll give that a go too.

RJ: Here's the deleted quote, which I absolutely love:

“We are all alone, born alone, die alone, and -- in spite of True Romance magazines -- we shall all someday look back on our lives and see that, in spite of our company, we were alone the whole way. I do not say lonely -- at least, not all the time -- but essentially, and finally, alone. This is what makes your self-respect so important, and I don't see how you can respect yourself if you must look in the hearts and minds of others for your happiness.”

I LOVE this! It made me cry...my son was killed in an accident last year and he pretty much lived by this....He never worried about what others thought, he liked who he was and he was comfortable in his own skin. He used to say "The only person that has to be happy with me...is me" I have never read this quote before....beautiful!

I ordered Dark Horse almost 3 months ago. I tried it, and tried it again. Just didn't do it for me. Apparently, a mindless vape is not what I need.

That being said, I was going through my junk juice to give to a new convert to try. I picked up the only purple cap in the pile, looked at it and thought I had better give it another try before I send it off. I put a new coil on my Phoenix RA and dripped about 5 drops in the reservoir. After about 5 toots, the bottle went back into my rotation.

Moral of the story.... NEVER give up on an HHV juice. Someone, but I'm not exactly sure who now, once said, "Vape it til you like it". He's a pretty smart guy.

I read it somewhere on ecf that dark horse was like a Marlboro light, guess not. I get what you're saying though about over time appreciating the cleaner flavors but I'm not there yet. I will give it a shot what other flavors you guys recommend? Ill order a few sample packs for sure I'm trying everyone's stuff haha.

I was a heavy smoker of Marlboro Lights for decades. At this point, I don't even remember what they taste like. But, I will tell you that I love Huntsman and Darkhorse.

I am pretty sure it was either Burly or GT or Bronze or Robin or Scarf-ace or ZGhost or Ice Poet or Buggs or Calico or Bappo or Pappy who said it.

Could have been Bivvie as well but I am pretty sure it was Burly.

Ice, just be sure you are not pinching and choking off the wicks with that silicone cap. If you have too much wick for the size hole they are going in you might have to put a tiny notch on opposite sides of that cap. Then be careful it doesn't twist out of position when you screw the Nova cap back on. I might experiment cutting off a small ring around the entire bottom of the cap so twisting it is not an issue. Haven't done that yet.

Wanda..so sorry to hear of your son's death. My neighbors (we're close) lost their son when he was 34. He left behind an institutionalized wife incapable of taking care of herself and a 1 year old girl. My neighbors (the son's parents) are now raising the 1 year old (who is now 7). I think I understand a little of your pain. You be strong.

Is Jaws a boy or a girl? It should be mandatory information when someone gets on the thread to know these things. I never know whether to say him or her. And when I assume, I'm always wrong. They could have a monster truck as an avatar and I'd be wrong for assuming they were a dude. Just my luck.

Bronze, My son was 23...he had 2 little boys and a daughter on the way....I lost him in March 2011 and Savannah was born the day after his birthday in June.

This had everything to do with my journey here...I had quit smoking a year before his accident and picked them back up immediately after. I simply didn't care about health issues, truth be known I guess I would have welcomed something bad. It took me a year to get back up to function.

I finally decided I had to be there for the babies if at all possible...that decision lead me here. I have met some great people here so not only have I quit smoking but, this forum gives me a place to go when I feel my mind sinking. Great bunch of people here :)

I think the best way to tell is for new members to inform us whether they have a 33-step shower process or a 3-step shower process. That would pretty much nail it down for us.
