April, this was Hula's shower post. Priceless.
Where can I find it? I will check it out....I want something that allows me to use those avoided flavors like cinnamon
Bappo has one. I prefer the 2.0 because it is much smaller. I think Bappo mentioned he prefered the 2.0 as well, but you would have to ask him.
Thank you! Very cute.
Oh my. You're in for a treat. Let it steep at least a week.
Ohhhhhh! You see, that would make a big difference to me, too. They don't list a spec page with the XL and you sure can't tell by the pics. Back to mulling over the 2.0
What I would like is something like that Samsung Galaxy ad they are running now. The one where Dad is hopping in a cab to catch a plane. His two girls give him a video to put on his phone and tell him to watch it on the plane. And then his pretty wife gives him one of her own and says, "You might not want to watch that one on the plane". That would ruin my business trip. I wouldn't get a thing done until I saw that vid.
5 T3s and 10 heads on the way most likely by the end of the week.. If I like em on first shot I'm gonna jump in another coop and double my order... I wanted t3s with LR heads but they just don't have em right now.. I soak everything in vodka regardless.. Since I quit drinking when I quit smoking(5months this weekend) I have about 3 bottles for ecig use only..
I quit drinking 976 days ago. My vodka bottles are for soaking and for gifts. My wife and I are in the restaurant biz so we get free bottles of stuff all the time. Good thing my wife can drink like an earthling. Shame for all that to go to waste. I'm allergic. When I drink alcohol, I break out in handcuffs.
Sounds great! I was looking at the VMOD XL, is that a newer model? I notice they mention you can use other cartos with it because it has a special gizmo for it. Know anything about the XL?
I looked at them Buggs, and the XL uses an 18650 batt while the original VMod uses a 14500. There's a pic of both together on the VMod XL A La Carte page, and the XL is quite a bit larger.
That's the great thing about the DCTs with the port hole on the side of the tank. I think they're ugly but it allows you to equalize the air pressure in the tank as the juice level changes, plus you can fill it that way. With the talk of Novas, DCT's, etc. I did recently discover a downside of carto tanks. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced it.
On my California trip, I leave Idaho at 4500 foot elevation, drive across Nevada at 5000-6000 foot elevation, drive over Donners pass, up to 7700 foot elevation and then drop down to sea level in California.
I noticed all of my carto tanks leaked. My Novas/Stardust did not, or only a little smidge. I realized that the rapid pressure change when going up in elevation causes a differential pressure. The pressure inside the carto tank is equivalent to 4500 feet and when going up to higher elevation, the pressure outside the tank is higher than inside the tank, forcing the liquid into the carto and then leaking out once saturated. It happened going from Idaho to the peak of Donner Summit and then back from sea level to the top of Donner pass.
The Novas/Stardusts leaked a little bit but it appears the pressure equalizes much quicker due to design. I also noticed the DCTs that I was actively vaping did not leak, as I provided a pressure adjustment by vaporizing liquid in the carto and drawing liquid in reducing the internal tank pressure.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Hey! They took my real life and made a commercial out of it?

Wanda, you have to be real careful with that cinnamon, it will melt the rubber endcaps and anything plastic like most DCT's, as well. You really should look into something that is glass and stainless steel or all stainless steel. You could get a box of Smok Stainless Steel cartomizers for those types of juices. I'd recommend the single coil 1.7 ohm XL's, which hold about 1.8 mL of juice. They are fairly easy to fill and top off. Else, Smok also carries them in the Jumbos which hold like 2.5 mL of juice. You can run these things just fine on plain old Ego's or Twists at the lower settings. You pretty much run them until they die and replace it with a new one. Some folks wash them. I don't. I just toss them. One lasts me a week or two of hitting it heavy every day.
They also make an all stainless steel Nova.
In case you are interested in the cartomizers. Crystal Clear Vaping
You can also get them in a 3 box bundle at this same site. And, the guy throws in free drip tips.
OMG! I'd hate for him to be my pilot. He'd probably take out a few terminals before he even got the thing off the ground.
I have an XL and a 2.0 and I prefer the 2.0. The Xl holds too much juice (9ml) and is too big to fit in a dress shirt pocket without sticking way out. Comes with a good battery though. The 2.0 is right-sized.
I use 1.5 ohm hybrid atty's in my bottom feeders from Vapage and when I want something cooler I use 1.8 ohm Cisco spec 510 attys from Avid.
My favorite BF is my Reo mini 18490 though. The 18490 batteries are shared across 3 other mods, it feels solid, made in usa, and the one quarky thing with the Vmods is eliminated with the Reo and that is the tilt squonk. The Reo you just squonk from any position.
Oh and the bottom feeders feed super thick juices like Boba's better than anything except a genny and are WAY easy to clean.
That's the great thing about the DCTs with the port hole on the side of the tank. I think they're ugly but it allows you to equalize the air pressure in the tank as the juice level changes, plus you can fill it that way.
EDIT: I forgot about the Kir Fannis Trap Tank. Sexy and the fill hole is on top...no comment on that last sentence.
Lol! I do usually wait till he's on the shuttle to the hotel.
I haven't seen the commercial, I'm going to look for it. He'll identify with it.
