In theory, it shouldn't interfere with whatever you're working on, even if you ran it 24/7. The program is designed to give priority to active programs and only use CPU resources that are not being used.That works for me. Thanks
But you can tell it when to run, am I understanding that correctly? I'm usually not on my desktop from about 9pm till about 3pm the next day, so it wouldn't interfere with whatever I'm doing if I can set those perameters.
That said, with the folding program working, your CPU is always cranked up to (or nearly to) 100% usage all the time and that can create a lot of heat. Don't be surprised if your computer fans occasionally kick on full speed. And yes, you can set it up to run at times you are not using the computer.
