When I first tried Shadow, I dripped a fresh batch in an atty. It had a very distinctive flavor for me that reminded me of powdered donuts. As Shadow matures, this quality morphs into a rich, semi-sweet creaminess. It is also more subdued in a Vivi Nova. Now, when I tried some fresh HA in a nova, I had just about exactly the same experience, which I love. I haven't dripped any, but I hope to try it in an rba with SS mesh soon. Anyway, that's why I said that
I do not have a SS mesh so I cannot relate. Though, I do have a Vivi Nova Mop Head that I can replace the atty/wick assembly. Just picked up 2 replacement wick assemblies today from HHV.
