Just received my first order from HHV. Is this real? Is this the way USA's nr. 1. ejuice is supposed to be packed?

When did you order those juices Ostinato, and how long did it take to get to you? Those juices look well steeped and the Gandalf label hasn't been around in a while.

As for the labels, I miss them too. My very first order to Canada (July last year) had the original labels and looked pretty. I did ask Adam why he changed it to the clear label with just the name of the juice and was satisfied with the explanation. I'd much rather have my juice than pretty labels. ;)

That labelling is a godsend for me, I would not risk ordering from them if it wasn't for it. As it's not allowed to import e-juice with nicotine from outside EU here in Norway, this helps them sneak through customs...
Now forget about the labels, and enjoy the content of the bottles! :)

Turn off the noise reduction and any in-device processing. It should improve the quality drastically.

Whilst you are giving out photography pointers...

Why can't I get my Canon PowerShot A630 to take in-focus close ups...even when using that flower mode thingie.

Please don't make fun of my "family" camera. I'm not a photo pro and don't care to be. My nephew has a photography business. One in the family is enough. :)

Hello Army! My apologies for going AWOL for the past few days, been so busy with work, and catching up on sleep! Seriously napped all day Friday and to bed early and slept 10 hours each of the past few nights! luckily we got a new bed for it, a nice king sized so I don't have to go to the couch anymore when both kids crawl in with us as has happened far too often of late!

Missed you all, and glad to see some new faces around here as well!

Minimum distance from object. Most cameras have a minimum distance you have to be from an object. For most consumer level cameras that may be around 6 - 12 inches or so..

You might also want to check to make sure it is not re-adjusting focus before taking the shot. Use the focus lock if that feature is available. Focus, half click, hold, shoot.

Macro modes require a steady hand as well because they focus on very small areas.

What is it that you're trying to shoot anyway?

I am no professional photographer but do use a digital camera everyday. I took and uploaded over 21,000 photos last year.

The flower thingy may be one thing but does it have a macro setting at all? The camera I use now is a cheap Fuji Film and I cannot get closer than 4 inches. I had a Sony which had a fantastic macro mode. I could lay the camera against something and if there was any light illuminating the object I could take a clear, in focus image. I am talking about making a hairline cylinder head crack appear like the Grand Canyon.

Just my thoughts:2c:
