I just PM'd Sam. He hasn't been on since 3/7. But last time I looked it was a long time. So glad Hula got through. Nice job Hula! And Geez, I was scrolling through my friend's list looking for Sam and Z was still on at the end like he always has been. Nice touch to put "Resting in Peace" under his avatar.

April will be on soon. ;)

Nice the "Resting in Peace" I was on (lurking) when I saw that he had passed and found that I could not post at all. Sorry

Hi Bronze: Don't know what that is called. It is on the tip of my tongue though (and that is probably where it will stay LOL)

This was my 3rd blue screen. Two on Saturday and one Monday when I tried to upload to DMV. The IT guy could not do anything with it today, blue screen every time.

RJ: Loaner? From who or whom? It is a small town budget and we bought new from Dell quite a few years ago. So no loaners that I know of. (not even sure if we have an equipment budget this year!) I was going to bring in my old laptop and call the courtroom program people about how to reload and update it on a new computer. Looked everywhere for that stupid laptop. Finally remembered that I had given it to my son (who lives in VA) at Thanksgiving when he was up here. Awful to be so "old" that I forget what I did with stuff :p

Jazzy, if you need a little wick and wire I can send you some in an envelope to get you by until the CNY is over (whenever that is). PM me where to send it or if you're not comfortable with that then PM me and I'll tell you where you can get some if you don't already have it.

The Chinese new year is over now, from what I've heard, it's just going to take a bit longer before stock comes in. Soon things shoul get back to normal as far as supplies go.

I'm sorry if it's offensive, but I'm wishing that monster lots of big, new boyfriends, RJ!

When's your son's big day? Thirteen's a lot easier with boys than girls, I think. Did teach that age for a little while. My last (brand new) laptop got melting white and rainbow screen from a freak electrical surge. Company called it user-error, and we were out a gob of $$:p. And you wonder why my technophobia persists:p?! I'd love to learn the first thing about photoshop, though, as some members here have really amused me with a few things. Seem to learn better from paper pages than screens for some reason.

He'll be 13 on Saturday. 7:27 am. I'll have a TEEN! He's a good boy though. I'm very very lucky. ;) My computer is 10 years old (8-o)...it's been a good'n. But it's time to put her down.

Good for you Robin. Hate that cleaning of a new place. Takes forever and ever. Yes, had to do it with this house and that was over 20 years ago and I still remember scrubbing the white kitchen floor with a brush and Comet!!!!

This place looked clean until I started cleaning it.....OMG some of it was disgustingly gross. Bar Keepers Friend has been my best friend
That stuff is amazing.

Annnnd more positive news is that my son will be going with his Dad to the beach to visit his grandparents for a couple of days for Spring Break. I'm not going to know what to do with myself. I'm getting a break....a BREAK. WOW! That never happens. I'll probably sit here in shock for a bit and be lost. I need a PLAN! What can RJ do on her break? I will have to work but I'll have those evenings to myself. No cooking for sure. Kitchen's closed. Maybe have a drink? Call an old friend? Make some coils? Now that made me laugh!

My oldest grandson just turned 14 today  I should put his pic up for my avatar and really drive Bronze nuts.
