By the way, North Carolina is apparently a backward state that thinks basketball is only played on tobacco Road. Saw a poor Tiger fan from NC crying because instead of the CUSA Championship game between Memphis and Southern Miss this morning CBS will be showing Doodlebops in the NC viewing area.

We're lucky if we get NC games. TV is backwards around here. That said, I do live in college basketball heaven here. It can seem like there is no other teams sometimes. While I like all three locals, I do get satisfaction from seeing Duke lose. Cockiest fan base in all of college basketball...and snobs too! But I do like Coach K a lot. Does Memphis have to win to fo to the tourney? I haven't kept up with the Tigers. They don't show their games here.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes yesterday. It was a little busier than I hoped, but lots of time with family and friends. My Dad sent roses and lillies and the house smells delightful!

Another busy day ahead, starting off with caramel cap and coffee.

That's a lock in my book. And you're right, CUSA gets little respect. It's been a revolving door conference. Never know who's in it. DePaul was in it at one time. I was big on DePaul in my earlier days with Mark Aguirre and Terry Cummings. Ray Meyer was the coach. They were independent in those days. East Carolina I know is in CUSA. There are lots of Pirate fans here but we hardly get any of their games. No room for them after the Pack, Heels, and Devils.

I'll be pullin'' for the Tigers. They gave the Bulls DRose.
