Denial ain't just a river in egypt. I made those promises at the time too. Up to and including; I won't smoke in the morning. I won't smoke while eating. I won't smoke if my favorite brand (I had an affinity for soft packs) isn't in stock. I won't smoke when I'm sick. I won't buy cartons unless there was a discount.

My last cigarette was in the year 2012 on Sept 23rd, it was a cold dark Sunday, at 10 PM. 1 week before going into surgery. I had just bought a fresh pack, halfway through the first cig I handed the pack to my girlfriend and told her to throw them out. I won't ever forget her smile. She knew I meant it.

You really lost me on that one there, RHP! I'll say to you what I say to my little one.. let the thought form fully in your head before the words come out of your mouth. In your case, through your fingers on the keyboard.

It'll all make sense when we have that beer! Until then, you're going to have to use some deductive logic and understanding to piece together some of the things I say off the cuff. I need to stretch more often before engaging in verbal gymnastics. Again, until my HHV juices are fully steeped and passing comfortably over my tastebuds in vapeform, I am not responsible for what I say in this HHV thread! (within reason)

I do mind but not because YOU ARE asking me. Afterall, you're on my friend's list for a reason. I just feel weird right now, as if I have just turned the BIG thread into my own personal blog.

Bronze, someone once told me in passing --It's easy to make friends but hard to keep them-- just give me time to come around to you. I feel like I've shared a lot with this group, more than any other area of ECF. And I've recieved an "infraction" from my fiance over the whole child bearing conversation already. Hope you understand.

Especially one that owns a monument shop I could be wrong as they make a lot of nice countertop material these days..but I'm pretty sure.

Sometimes it scares me how much money I have spent on ecig related items.... I like variety and I like pretty...but items I've out grown have been passed on to friends or family...and the items I have now don't even come up to half as much as I would have spent on the stinkys over the past 2 1/2 years. The more expensive items I have could be sold for what I paid on the classifieds if I wanted so I feel better now

I relish every cent I spend on vaping! The only thing I like spending money more on is my family when they truly need something. Take a look at what you spend on taxes, car insurance, health insurance, etc. So much of what we earn goes to crap that brings no joy to our lives. If you enjoy vaping, and can afford the expense, so what?

It helps me keep from beating myself up for what I spend on something I love doing. My GF got her lavatube I ordered her in the mail yesterday. I am introducing her (grudgingly) to VV mods so she will be ready for a Provari when her one year anniversary comes up.

I remember $0.45 cigarettes and $0.19 for a gallon of gas. That was around 1970 when I started driving. I could put a dollar in the VW and drive all weekend.

I'm afraid to calculate what I spent on smokes but I will. 1.5 PAD x 40 years. But then the first pack I bought was 38 cents.

Figure 21,900 packs (Good God!) x $2.75 avg each = $60,225 (Good God!) Or more realistic, if I adjust for inflation and use "today's" dollars it would be $98,550 (Good God!)

If I could kick in the seat of the pants, the one person who has caused me more trouble. I wouldn't be able to sit down for a week.
