I happened to see the pic. I needed smelling salts and oxygen afterwards. That was rough.

I saw it on TV as it happened, but the replay was from across the court and didn't show anything except a leg bending in a way it was never supposed to bend.

I was not expecting that. I'm in awe that you are able to deal with that type of thing, enjoy it even. The only thing even remotely close is watching my grandchild brought into the world. That didn't bother me probably because it is a natural process. But that other?!?!? Oh my god, the pain had to be excruciating. That's all I could think about.

Time to turn that switch off. Need to think of something else for a while.

Robin my daughter asked me to join her in the labor room.... she is worried hubby won't make it so I gladly accepted the offer letting her know I would just hang back until he passes out on the floor then run up front Seriously I think he will do better than we give him credit for...he is very excited.

Yeah 73, my son is NOT happy and I'm tired of dealing with his whining. And oh what fun it was turning the key. If I had a dime for every time he said "I want it OUT" or "I can't HANDLE this" I'd be rich. I feel bad, but at the same time he just needs to find a way to deal with it. I've been nice and accommodating and have spoiled him rotten, but my nerves are shot.

They usually do better than they think they will. And some do worse Always embarrassing for the Dad that passes out at delivery and the ED team comes to take him down to the ED for evaluation.

Hang in there hon and try to keep spoiling him a little. How long does he have to wear it? It's probably a very good thing you started with Spring Break... with the braces my kids all adjusted once the got used to them. (then only my daughter wore her retainer like a good girl...the boys were bad)
