Hmmmm.....any additional transportation costs that have to be taken into account if she went to the Catholic school? Any tax credits you can claim? Any "scholarships" you can apply for to help keep her where she is? Just some thoughts...

Other than that, maybe lurk on a street corner, and show a leg as traffic drives by?.....

Heya Bivie! Sorry for the late reply. I was enroute to Chloe's school to meet with her teacher. We have to decide whether to keep the little one in Montessori school for another year, or transfer her over to Catholic school with the coming school year. Approximately $1000 per month for Montessori vs $400 for the extra supervision at the Catholic school. That's the primary difference along with a few other curriculum differences.

My heart says continue her with Montessori even though it's a lot more expensive because I am seeing the benefits of it on a daily basis, but $600 is not a small amount per month to just shrug off.

Tough decision to make. :(

If you weren't a lion we could call you Mr. Ed but a horse is a horse, of course, of course. But whoever heard of a talking horse?
Cheer up buddy. You got friends like me, how can you go wrong? How many people know a talking lion in the throes of Mid Life Crisis?

I guess I must have missed that night...that Trick was the T-shirt reviewer...I can't keep up sometimes.

Yeah, Biv ain't right.

Hang in there Pic...

Hang in there TNT...

And I've paid in excess of a full college education for private DAYCARE before he even started school for my son not including afterschool care...and he's way ahead and doing great in education. Dusty, go for the best education. You can't go wrong there. I always say I'm daycare poor.

What else? Dang it's been a long day.

Thanks to everyone that replied to my post this morning. I'll be heading over to the HHV army sub-forum sometime soon.. Looking at the vision spinner... adding dragon's fire to my list of wants.. studying up on ohms and volts... Oh yeah, and there's that work thing that pays the bills and takes up a ton of my time.. Now I'm off to squeeze in a workout before shower and bed! I think I wanna be a kid again.. No, not really. I couldn't vape..

But!....when it was getting difficult paying the bills with the slowing economy that really affected me one of the first things I did was make my son become a latchkey kid. At 11. Daycare KILLED ME financially. It was ALSO the best thing I ever did. He grew as a young adult in spades. Big stress but big reward. I'm blabbering...

I told Mom today that I need a weekend break. Yeah yeah most people can handle it fulltime but I CAN'T. I need a BREAK. Son is going to her house for the weekend. Stress is a killer.

Bridget, if you want to study up on ohms and volts, just ask away here. There's no point in you searching around when all the answers are right here on this thread. Click on the link below to get started. Just keep in mind, it's the watts that most people stay steady with (there are exceptions). But I'd guess the majority of vapers are in the 6 - 8 watt range. Throw in the volts and ohms in the calculator and you can find the resulting watts.

Tnt..sorry to hear about your health issues...take good care of yourself and do what the doctors tell you...

Dusty..my little Ella is way beyond her two years of age but it has more to do with her parents and big brother than anything else..it's difficult when you have a child that is more mature than others their age... but children that young survive and blossom in any situation as long as they have love...don't think your little one has to worry about that at all. She will flourish no matter which school you put her in next year;)

A decision has been made.

We will continue with Montessori until she reaches Grade 1 level.

Another year is not going to break us, and she will get to complete her Casa level with the school she is at.

You betcha - my own experience for what it's worth is they'll call you straightaway with bad news, but don't say anything at all if it's all OK.

No word yet, Hula. It may be friday's appointment before we hear. That is okay with me. I figure no news is good news, eh?

Chin up PicC - we love ya. If you find yourself in a continued doldrum, I shall have to send some of my 32% nic, extra flavor Rob's Blackjack to you, that'll clear the cobwebs...
:)
The moment you realize you interact with people on the ecf too much....
The moment you realize you really don't like a whole lot of people. (not this army)
Another day for me i guess.

Ah great! Does that mean I get to drive by and take pictures of you showing a leg on the street corner now? Seriously it makes best sense if you can possibly manage it. Hawaii will still be here in a year's time, provided the USA duct tapes MiniMe's big mouth in N. Korea :D
