Long rainy morning followed by a random drug test by employer (I've been clean/ sober over 20 years, no worries there) then wait around two hours for mandatory annual safety meeting so I can hear BossMan tell the rookies how to do what I've been doing 17+ years. On the lighter side, home safely and allowing myself to finally start thinking about some one month steeped Shadow, Legend, Oompa, and first bottles of DF and HA. Life is good

Surviving my first full day with my Dad. So far, so good

Actually, I have a very dear friend that has just moved her father into hospice, suddenly and unexpectedly. They are all gathered around him in a show of love and peace and family. The irony is not lost on me, so I am embracing my time with my Dad, bridging gaps with love and forgiveness.

And sneaking around with my vapor... Will I ever be a grown up around my Daddy? LOL!

I can't remember where he lives, but I don't think it's near me. I think it's Ice Poet
who lives in Houston. Who knows, maybe we'll hook up at a jam session one day;
but I'm not much for sittin' 'round the campfire playing. I've been told I need to be
on a stage, and there's one leaving in five minutes.
