Well I came home on Friday, and put my eVic on the rail of my front foyer which sits about 15 feet above my concrete (fake marble) floor below. I opened a letter and pushed the envelope into my eVic and sent it tumbling to the hard surface below. It knocked the head out of the brain unit, exposing the wire. I pushed it back in and attempted to secure it with superglue, but it was not an ideal bonding agent. The next day I picked it up by the atty and the bottom fell out and ripped the wires out of the head where you connect the atty.
I am friends with a gentleman who owns a precision soldering kit and he got it reconnected. It has been reattached with loctite which seems to be holding much better. This connection is a weakness in the current version of the eVic. I am not sure I can blame the
device though, since Robin broke her Provari with a much more modest fall....
