I am pretty bummed that the talented and beautiful Ms. Robin is like less than an hour away from me, and through a series of mutual scheduling tragedies we will not be meeting in the real world...

I'm totally bummed also :(

Yes we do make this trip every year and will plan to get together as soon as I find out when we will be going next year. We usually plan it a few months in advance and coordinate with his son visiting her so we can see both kids at the same time.

I have rarely been to Alabama and lived in Georgia all of my life, so far.
Just so long as you don't rat me out to my English students, we're all good! Hearing about you and Robin in our capital has me ashamed, once again, that I've never once been to D.C.. I know:ohmy:! Just terrible. I'm going to get there one day soon, and maybe you can add me to your list of real folks from the forum you've met. zapped was one of my first friends here, so it's cool that you got to meet him. We disagree about some political stuff, but (other than that) I'm a fan.

...sloooow and interrupting, again:facepalm:...

Well neither of us (me nor Robin) is there in the capital, she is near the capital and I am down in Richmond. But I go up there all the time. I would love to meet up if you make it there, smit is nearby in Baltimore so we could make it a three-person meet, although I hope I have already met him by then...

As for Zapped, we are both members of the Richmond Area Vapors or whatever that facebook page is....so there are vapemeets about once a month for the group. Which is kind of cool.

Yeah, hey we both tried to work it out. We will make it happen next April or whenever if it can be done.

Its just weird cause with you being all the way down in Florida, I figured the chance of us meeting up was near zero, then all the sudden you were right at the doorstep. Have fun for the rest of your visit, Robin. It is awesome you get to spend time with your family. Tell them all the lion sends them a mighty roar!

It is only as precise as to the accuracy of the bottle size and amount put in them. This is according to the label.

The first order had 6 50ml bottles and 2 sampler packs. 300ml in 50ml bottles then 8 x 3ml bottles is 24ml so 324ml arrived so far.

No worries. Just having a bit of Leonine fun. You got me there, your numbers are in fact, quite precise!

Well where to start...grandma is pooped but has a huge smile on her face:laugh: Becky congrats on the 43,000
When our son married we also got the bonus of a six year old boy..Jack. His father and his parents are active in his life and very good to him...although his father has been very nasty to my DIL. She deserves a medal...never speaks poorly of her son's father and I've seen her almost bite through her teeth. When he first joined our family he called us Joe & Tammy...but it wasn't long until the Grandpa & Grandma came easily. He calls our son Andrew...but when he's telling me about his activities he say things like my dad ...well my real dad not Andrew..so I know he loves our son like a father. Had so much fun with Ella this weekend I wouldn't even know where to begin sharing...and we had a chance to see one of Jack's flag football games this afternoon when we took her back (Jack was with his dad this weekend else we would have had him as well)

RJ you just take care of yourself and your son... seriously you are a wonderful mother. I wish we lived closer to each other as I get the feeling we'd enjoy a nice cold beer or glass of wine of the deck from time to time

Yeah, I know you don't live in D.C., but that IS the next trip I plan to make, so I'd be close enough. I DID think (for no reason) that you and Robin were hoping to meet there (I sometimes create such fictions:facepalm:). So, your hubby has family in VA, thus the yearly visits, Robin?

His daughter is a teacher in Virginia and his son is an animator in Portland. Once a year we create general mayhem in his daughter's 2nd grade class.

My kids live in Michigan. Our kids all love each other and get along fantastically. In fact we did FaceTime with my son and family just tonight.

Makes a difference when they all get along huh? My kids don't live in Michigan. They live in that "unrealized hopes" section of my heart and you can have them be whatever you want them to be. They all get along, they're all perfect children, and they move out of the house after college and take care of ole Mom and Dad as they age. They're great kids! :D

Hey Bronze...I'm pretty sure there is a little girl next door that will be more than happy to take care of you both when you get older;) It really doesn't matter if it's by blood or by luck... loving a child and helping to raise them...that is family.

Ha! She's barely old enough so I don't have to wipe her .... anymore. That said, she has been a jewel in my life. Her mom (actually her Grandma who raises her) and I always tell each other, "I wish she would stop growing up". She'll be 9 this year and it wont be long at all and the most important people in her life will be her friends and ole Bronze will come after that. I'm already seeing it to start to happen. I'm prepared. In the meanwhile, it's nice when her whole world is me when she's with me. :) She just won three blue ribbons and a bunch of other ribbons in her first horseback riding competition.

I'm pooped too. My feet hurt from serving well over 100 people at my sis-in-law's baby shower. Yep she's spoiled.

What's funny to me is my life sometimes feels like a Lifetime movie (or a Maury Povich show to some...) but I'm a boring hermit who works, goes home, takes care of things, and starts all over the next day. I don't even have to venture out in the world for people to screw with me though. I am also one of the parents who have put up with a lot of stuff from my ex and his family but kept on trucking. I always had to look at what was best for my son. I would be so neutral and downright supportive of their relationship, when some saw it as bending over. But when it's your kid, you really want the best for them. Even when it's hard on you. When I think back, man!...I gave my ex plenty of chances even when I shouldn't. You have to love your child more than you dislike your ex. But I'm getting hardened I think to this world...which is something I said I would never do. But, this is about safety for my son and that makes it easy. I haven't seen a dime of child support in years and won't ever. I let that go...can't squeeze blood out of a rock.

I think we have a lot in common Iowa Gal. I know I would enjoy sitting on that deck having a cold one. I'm sure of it. :)

It's nice to see great Dads here...I so wish my son had one.

Heya all!
Went for a group motorcycle ride this weekend and there were four vapers in the bunch. Was pretty cool. Had Gandalf in a epipemod and another dude that smokes a pipe tried it and was quite suitably impressed. I had to write down all the info for him. Another vaper lost his clearo/ego to the riding gods when he put it in an unzipped pocket.

Bronze my dear...when they reach that teenage timeframe...their friends are always more important than anyone in their life...but you just keep doing what you've already done and they grow up..mature and realize just how much you were there for them and helped shaped their life. I don't have a crystal ball...but I also forsee when she does something stupid in her growing up years (which they all need to do..that's why it's called growing up) you just might be the first phone call to save her hiney..cause she knows her grandparents aren't going to be happy..

Are you saying I should establish a bail bond account? :)
