And just to simplify poor PicC's predicament further I get the "heavy chest/heavy lungs" feeling from vaping too much PG. LOL.

I'm a little disappointed I won't be getting all your DF due to health issues ;)

But very glad you narrowed it down and are feeling better.

Clean up your diet and take care of yourself. My chest would feel heavy from the 100% VG... Hope it's something simple!

And thank you for giving me an update. I was concerned about you.

Wahoo! Headaches gone! But YES. You should go get a check up with the doc anyway. And doncha just love them Twists.:D I got several other mechanicals and whatnot but I still end up with Twists and a Kanger T2 as they work and are the simplest grab it n go's that I know of. Of course, not having experimented with the others maybe I just don't know what I'm missing. lol.

SUNNY APRIL. HEADACHES from vaping DF are gone. It definitely was that carto without a doubt which is really scary in my opinion. I have no idea what caused the headaches but I've been vaping newer(January) DF since Friday on and off and had no issues. Today I broke out the Late November remnants for sheets and giggles :)
Headaches from vaping in general still happen but I've been trying to drink as much water as possible and they've definitely lessoned a bit.
I spent a night vaping a higher PG and most of this morning vaping higher PG mixes and haven't had any issues. I've spent this weekend vaping 100VG with no issues, so basically it comes down to I need to see a doctor. I've been having slight discomfort here and there in my chest but nothing to write home about BUT regardless I don't think that's from vaping. Just bad diet coupled with over eating of the worst crap.
I'm working on that...

I just received a twist in the mail :)
WOW I forgot what simple vaping was like and tossed on a protank. This will be my work PV from now on. ..

Legend and Shadow samples have been loaded and vaped since early morning. While Shadow has a sweet chord that plays throughout the vape, Legend is one of the first juices that I have vaped that changes between inhale and exhale. I get a hint of pipe tobacco during the inhale, while the exhale carries a slightly sweet flavor that I am still trying to hammer down. I think that Legend will definitely find its way into my budding rotation of juices, while Shadow might be one that is more of a dessert vape for me.

First and Foremost- a well steeped shadow is my favorite NET (just to let you know where I'm coming from). The sweet taste of Legend is Cherry, something I remember from my pipe smoking days. No, not those pipe smoking days, the tobacco pipe smoking days  A cherry tobacco is not the same as cherry candy or syrup, but it is a distinct sweet taste. Legend is a NET take on cherry pipe tobacco. And a very good one, I might add. Some March 3rd Legend has become my evening 'unwind' vape this week all on it's own :vapor:

Question for you. My grandpa smoked a pipe and I LOVED the smell of the cherry tobacco smell. Do you get that same taste as the smell? I hope I'm clear enough in what I'm trying to ask. LOL

That's it! Cherry, but not a candy or a fruity cherry. Just enough to let you know it is there. I loaded up the last of my shadow :( for work tonight. It is one that is growing on me the longer I use it. I am super excited to get my hands on some legend that a very kind soul pif'd me...should be here around Thursday. I also got some more vape mail today. I'm pretty sure it is good right out of the mailbox, no steeping required (another protank and a few evods). Should have a small order from mbv tomorrow, wanted to try out the ecto cooler after seeing pbusardo's review. This week should be full of vape mail! With the hhv order I made today I should be set for a while I hope. Now time to lust after some mods that will probably have to wait a few months...

NEVER EVER NEVER ! The aroma of a pipe is completely different from the taste. First, I smoked an unfilted pipe. An Italian Briarwood. Raw tounge and bitter bite could be aleviated by placing a thin slice from a red apple in my pouch the night before. Also, moist tobacco always smoked better. The taste could be described as darker and a LOT stronger than the aroma, but even that is a poor comparison. The attraction of a Pipe is the fact that that pipe tobaccos aren't sprayed with preservatives and chemicals like cigarette tobacco, making for a pure, richer taste. When I smoked just a pipe, cigarettes smelled putrid to me. But invariably, the strength of a pipe tobacco would turn my tounge and palate raw and numb after a few short years, and I would return to the 'stinkies' for awhile. Sorry I cannot give a better answer Robin, but there is a huge difference between the taste and aroma of a pipe tobacco.

You're going to love those. I ordered the big bottles so they dominate my rotation.

The Mocha Java is another I highly recommend.

Careful with the MJS. My recommendation is to order a small sample of it first. Some people (including ME) taste nothing but popcorn in MJS and Java Smooth also.

In fact, I have a 30ml "sample" of Caramel Capp and it has the same taste to me. Just something about the coffee flavoring they use that tastes like popcorn to some people.

So, the vape won't taste like the aroma of that pipe tobacco? I would love to get something that tasted like that pipe smoke smelled.

Legend is a very mild replica of cherry tobacco, without the 'Bite'. You will notice the same cherry as the aroma of Grampa's pipe, but there will also be the taste of a tobacco, in this case the HHV NET base you are already familiar with. I would suggest getting a small 15ml bottle and steeping for two months. Yes, two months to get that true cherry pipe tobacco flavor. As a former pipe smoker who enjoyed both vanilla and cherry cavendish (mild and sweet) tobaccos, a two month steep is well worth the wait ! Trust me, I speak from experience on this...

And probably enjoying it ! I've tried several other vendors NETs but Heather's is the closest I've found for my palate for true Flavored Pipe Tobaccos. Just my :2c:

Yeah I love this stuff! Good to know that a long steep is needed. My 1 month old legend tastes nothing like the sample I got a long time ago or this Legend I'm vaping now from 2/20

I thought something might have changed between receiving my sample and ordering a full size bottle

Does this also apply to Dark Horse, at least the steeping time?

The first time I tried Gandalf it had steeped for two weeks, and I described it as "stale burnt rice cakes". I set that bottle to the side for a couple of months, mostly from disappointment, then thought 'What the heck ?' and tried it again, this time well-steeped. WOW! I've been long steeping my Gandalf/ Legend ever since :)

Steeping Dark Horse mellows it out. But it doesn't have much flavor to begin with. I know you ordered some Dark Horse 73. Not sure if you bought a larger bottle. But if you did, I would go ahead and follow the usual steeping procedure and give it a try once you get the alcohol out of the bottle. Try it every few days until you like it.
