Happy birthday dusty. Wore the toga to work under my uniform just for you. vape meet looks awesome. Have a great time.

I swear I must have the worst luck with vaping. I brought both twists to work tonight as usual, one with half a day's use and the other straight from the charger. And 4 hours later I have two dead twists and no way to charge til I get home...

You need to start bringing a charger!

Screw your atty on the car battery. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

I would if I had anywhere to plug it in at...I have a feeling a mod with extra batteries is in the future, just have to save up a little first to justify it to the wife this soon after all the other purchases getting started. That way I can save the twists for at work.

One of the reasons I love the Prothingy is just popping a fresh battery in my purse or just even putting a fresh battery in and it will last the whole day plus some.

Bronze, there is minimal throat hit with 9mg. At first I couldn't figure out why it doesn't feel like I'm getting anything. I'm getting used to it though. Vaping Shadow. Mmmmmm I have to say, I'm liking this even more at the 9mg. It seems smoother somehow with lower nic.

Yeah Robin, I have to believe there would be an adjustment period. Glad you are getting used to it though. Keep us posted.

I wonder if the Shadow is better at 9mg because you can take a deeper draw. No?

Each time I knew it was time to drop down because I would start getting the harshness of nicotine. With the lower nic, the harshness is no longer there overpowering the flavor. I actually am back to tasting the flavor again. But then it was the same way with each drop.

ETA: It's only taken just a few of hours to adjust to this.

I went from 12mg to 6 months ago. I just decided to do it to cut the nic, because I hate, hate being addicted to something. Part of the motivation for vaping came from wanting financial freedom, but also freedom from having to "carry." Financially I'm in better shape, but I'm still tethered to the addiction, and in the respect of carrying, even more so. I can't speak for anyone but myself, but I want to be free of all of it.

What that has to do with the change in experience, throat hit or comfort with sufficient nic intake, is, I powered through it. Mainly because I want to be free. I don't want a pack of smokes, a lighter, a PV, batteries, etc etc, occupying my life. Right now, and for as long as I can remember, I've had to "carry." I'm getting to the point that I don't care how it tastes or what the throat hit is. I like vaping, but I just don't want to do it anymore.

Wow, that wasn't asked for. :) Feel free to disregard that rant!

Only speaking for myself, ice, but I'm pro-rant. I recently went back up to 12mg, and I wasn't exactly thrilled with that. But I know that I just needed to do it, and I've made my peace with it. The switch was about freedom for most of us, and whatever that means for you is what you should seek. Best of luck to you with tapering off:)!

I think I narrowed down the culprit of the battery situation tonight to a loose usb slot on my laptop. When I got home I noticed if the cable gets bumped when it is charging, it was changing to a green light, although I am not sure if this means that no more power was being sent to the battery or not. I guess I'll find out tomorrow when that battery charges if it was the usb problem or if it is a lemon battery that won't hold a charge after only a week of use (have two twists, so each one is used every other day for me).
