Yup, I go to a Trade school that cost a crap load of money, and their take on it is "Well it's not smoking, and no ones seems to be bothered by it so have fun" LOL

And I wasnt really talking trash about England, just stating the obvious that all this rain we are getting reminds me of being back in England. My Wife is from England and we lived there for a couple of years. I enjoy going over for a visit but I do not care to live there. I had the hardest time getting work over there in IT and which is a big part of the reason why I decided to go back to school once we moved over here. I had been out of IT for 2 years and no one was looking at my resume

Unfortunately, it was a pretty sad affair - off brand instant coffee and stale ham and cheese sandwiches made with gobs of cloyingly sweet salad dressing. ack, ack!

Got my sister fixed up again tonight. She had a wonky KPT head, I couldn't fix it but I had ordered her a new box with my last ones. Also sold her my sludge. I like it, but I don't love it. Good morning, Army!! I hope that everyone is having a fantastic start to the week. Things here have been pretty busy, trying to get the kiddo's settled into somewhat of a routine for summer with school being out for Eli and everything. He tends to get a bit irritable during the summer as he doesn't get the therapy outside of school (although we are working with insurance company to find a PT around here for him during the summer break) so it takes a few weeks for things to normalize usually during breaks from school.

Robin, good luck on getting that grandson to make his debut. Eli was 2 weeks overdue (change in doc's right at my wife's due date as the doc's wife had a baby 2 days before Eli's due date, and the new doc "decided" that Erica was only 38 weeks...), so I know how that wait can go...

I'm very sorry to see that I missed all of the sex book talk last night while I was at work....it was quite comical catching up on that.

Chak, I am sorry to hear that you didn't get the job that you interviewed for. It would seem to me that it would have carried some weight that you interviewed in person vs via Skype, but maybe it was just not meant to be (and maybe that job will turn out to be one that you would have hated in the long run).

Yay, another techno-geek. I'm an Ed Tech-geek and work closely with our IT department. Bummer is that a lot of times Academic Department doesn't recognize the difference between ET and IT.

As for Ghost and the Darkness, I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!! .. the phrase that was called out was "One Shot!". You gotta watch that movie if you have not already done so.

He who chews on twigs didn't give me enough info to figure out the precise line that he's talking about, which makes me sad. (GOTTA check what pops up above me while I am having breakfast and slowly pecking out posts at the same time!) I'll agree that the critics were more gaga over Lost In Translation than I was (certainly had some flaws), but I will watch any and every movie my man is in quite happily *swoon, fall over*. I skimmed the first one and got very bored with it. I just started And the Mountains Echoed, Khaled Hossein's latest and it's wonderful and more my speed.
