Slim, another thing to do is wear an old t-shirt (that you don't mind being destroyed) for a day and then put it in his crate. Anything with your smell on it will soothe him.

Thanks Pappy, ill throw the shirt I'm wearing now in with him tonight :)

I appreciate all the help everyone!

LOLOL - Yep. Happy Birthday Papaw:toast:, your new red Provari is a great birthday gift ... to me. It'll probably cost me a couple hundred dollars by the time I get the this's n the that's and let's not forget the others while we're at it but I'm happy as a pismo clam. Now, I KNOW some of you are going to be disappointed and I'll lose considerable street cred, but not only did I win a Red Provari - I had a choice of the regular one or the mini. I apologize to all the manly men, but being of female gender I decided to select the mini. I'll get the extender cap so it will be about the same size as the regular one, but I'll have the choice of size, plus an eGo adapter. Oh and I'm a December '59 birthday girl myself so yes, many of us seem to be about the same age!

An Opus eh? Hmmmm....gets map out to find info on location of Papaw's mailbox...

Excuse me, I know I've been busy the last couple of weeks, but
HULA STOLE MY NEW RED PROVARI !!!!
Seriously, I was going through some old email in my neglected inbox when I came across the ECF Newsletter and saw our own lil' Island Girl won a new Provari ! Way To Go Hulamoon :toast: :2cool:

(just keep your grubby little paws away from my new Opus this month)

Hula I am so happy for you and the Red is so pretty. I think you made a good decision....for me I'd rather change batteries more often for the mini size factor and believe you'll feel the same way. You were probably smart to get the extender cap, I never did. Been working all day and just taking a break...need to really hit it hard this weekend to get things under control...cause I have a feeling I might get a new grandchild next week:laugh:

Musta been something in the water that year....
<----- Hey Look! I am a Veteran now. Hard to believe I have been here for a year....

Congrats on your new status ! :toast:

Just finished watching a movie for the first time in weeks, it's nice to relax once in a while. Watched the new Spider-Man with Sally Fields as Aunt May, Martin Sheen as Uncle ? and the smart-aleck from Ice Age as the Police Chief. Don't ask me who the lead actor and actress were, too old to keep up with the younger ones anymore. Good movie, but why does Hollywood make everything seem so dark anymore ?

Yeah, it was a pretty good adaptation. My gripe was the action sequences, where it was difficult to follow what was going on. They just don't get that a short, simple fight is just as good as one that bounces off of 12 buildings and comes from 23 different angles. The important thing is that we care about the characters. I thought the new spidey was good enough to care about, and the new girl was adequate. Martin and Sally were excellent, but limited.

*yawn* We both ended up taking a nap and it's hard to wake up. Bottom braces are on and son is doing great. New niece has a little jaundice but I believe she may be home this evening. Since Mom is not answering her phone I assume they are home now and she's over to see the baby. She is ADORABLE! I'll have to do pics sometime soon. Don't forget Father's Day tomorrow! I got my Dad a brand new, shiny, excitingly excited..............(drum roll) computer chair mat. Hey it'll save the carpet! And he wants one. It's the only thing he doesn't have so I picked one up for him yesterday (one of my busiest days EVER in history). I also got me another one as well. Got flowers and a balloon and stuffed animal for the new parents. Had a nice long visit with them yesterday, then dinner with son and parents last night. Ortho today (they are now giving me Saturday appts which I LOVE....now I can take off days for fun stuff instead of ortho stuff). Then work is hectic. WHEW! That nap was well deserved...

Happy Belated Birthday and 1 year cig free anniversary Papaw!!! :bday:

I got an e-mail yesterday asking which size I would like, so I guess it will be mailed next week Pappy. So shortly after that, there'll be a lot of questions from yours truly about the whole subject. :D
So Hula, any word on when you will get your new Provari?

Good Morning Army, and a special thanks to al you Dad's out there. (don't fuss, mom, you had your day). If you can, go see your Dad today, that's the best gift of all. If you've moved away from him, call. It's better (and more old-fashioned) than texting.
I hope you and your Dad have a Safe and blessed Day :)
