Just got back from a shopping spree with Mrs. Chak. Needz Huntsman badly. :vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor:

Ah, that's better... We're opening a little, I guess you'd call it a cafe' in the front yard tomorrow (rather a fancy popcorn stand). However, she's planning on selling egg rolls, papaya salad and cold drinks as well. There goes one of my days of rest, not that I was resting that much anyways.

I want some egg rolls!!!! I hope the sell goes smooth as possible and that you don't have to work too hard tomorrow Chak!

Becky I'm giving the protank another shot, and some T3S. That does look sturdy tho, just not sure about not being able to see the liquid level. When I break another protank tho, I'll be back for that info!

Good Friday morning Army. 73, hope you get that remote ASAP, and your aches are worked out quickly. Headed to the lake this weekend, (fam is already there) time to pack up everything I own, including this old laptop! Have a great day.

Here's the results of the hillbilly hand fishing yesterday. My boys with a 3rd cousin.. DH was taking the pic.

Have fun at the Lake! Oh and when you ordered the protank did you order the entire tank or just the top? That site that Becky posted sells the tops for $4.00 I might actually buy a couple to have back ups :D Kanger Protank Top Only

Happy Friday!

And I'm off for another absolutely fabulous day at work! Yeah, right... It's been way too busy there with all sorts of complicated patients. Keeps me on my toes, but I sure wish people would just tell you right up front that they are diabetic with heart defects and had hypertensive strokes rather than wait for me to ask why their R arm doesn't have full range of motion. That sort of information impacts the plan of care tremendously.

Bringing DF and Caramel Cap today..

Have a wonderful day!

I got the clear ones. Surely the plastic will be more durable than the glass. I think you'll love the protank. I really do, but I have a bad case of the 'Robin' I guess!

You too!?!?!

Are you related to Robin ? Just asking...

Good Morning Army, Friday has arrived !:) Have a Safe and Blessed Day and a Great Weekend when you get to it !

Grrrrrrrrrrr :sneaky:

Hey Stanley, I hope you got your sleep number juuuust right. Sorry I didn't get to post earlier, just been a heckuvva week - BUT

this just arrived along with a charger and two batteries. Whoohoo. !

View attachment 222972

So what works best on top of this unbelievably solid and smart looking battery?

Enjoy whatever you decide to put on that beauty!

Good morning, Army:)!

Happy belated birthday, MrPicC! Fratic's onto something with his June baby theory;). Hope those two extractions today aren't too rough and mark the end of dental drama for you:p. Big-time props to you for those 6 miles a day, man! But, still, huzzah for your car back on Monday:2cool:!

April, you're going back to LA tomorrow?! Wow...super jealous, but also super happy for you! Have a blast at your niece's party!

Hope you got loads of z's after your long day with lovely Lena, Robin!

Yay for your well-deserved weekend off, Papaw!

I'm still teaching my EVODs fetch, Lion; you da man:2cool:.

Hula, a new ProVari to wash away the stresses of a heckuvva week:toast:! Have you christened it with some Huntsman yet?

Bridget, these are NOT cheap, but they're just what you're inquiring after - Tatroe Tank 3.2ML Grooved. Hopefully your new Protanks hold up just fine, and you'll never need the Tatroe.

That pic is just missing a little Diesel, Slim;).

73, when's that remote due to arrive, anyway? Gotta get you a better night's sleep, already!

Fantabulous FRIDAY vapes to all :vapor:!

Both of us are in a MUCH better frame of mind this morning. :D

One more cup of coffee and I will start a bit of cleaning. She loves to help. ;)

Hillbilly hand fishing? Don't think I know that one. How's it work?

AKA: noodling. Finding fish in holes under water and catching them by hand. Usually involves sticking your hand in the fish's mouth up to the forearm on the big ones. I can't watch.

LA in this case refers to Los Angeles (Palisades Park kite flying party). I wish it was in New Orleans! If you're nearby, stop by for some kite flying!

Yeah, um, I feel pretty dense right about now:p! Like you wouldn't have told us about another trip to New Orleans sooner:facepalm:?! If my stupid stomach holds up for it, I'm going to a dear friend of the family's 70th birthday party in Chinatown (yum, dim sum) tomorrow, but thank you so much for the invitation, April! Have a load of fun in my neck of the woods! With that, Bridget's trip to the lake and Chak's little cafe opening, sounds like tomorrow's a pretty sweet day for the Army. Anyone else have some fun planned for the weekend?

I'm going fishing tonight on the lake for some channel cats. Probably be a pretty late night. Then I'll be home to get the yard mowed etc., and then it's time to get things leveled out and whatnot for the pool next week. Oh, Eli got a pool for his birthday, he loves the water so we figured might as well get one for him. 42" high is just right for him to run around in, with one of us in with him of course. Hope y'all are having a great Friday!

Thanks Frantic9k, It should be ok, we have quite a few peeps helping us.
PS That's a good price for just the top of the Protank, I'll have to bookmark that page.

Ok, I see. Not my kinda fun, but I can see how some folk might get a kick out of it. Those are some biga$$ catfish!!

Yeah, it should be rather fun. But somehow I feel like I'd rather go over to Papaw's and help him mow down the neighbour's kids. ;)

I'm doing chores this weekend. I'm always behind and the grass keeps growing. Son is supposed to be going to see his grandparents near the beach with his Dad but I'm not sure what day so I'll be packing him up for that. I'm looking forward to a little break. Breaks are rare for me. Son is always with me. So I'd like to get all my chores done and grass cut and lay out in the sun. I need to make some coils too and clean some vape gear. I will be very busy with chores.

The caramel and vanilla are coming out now in this Heavenly Tobacco. It's a "heavy" type sweet vape. Almost like I just ate a bunch of caramel or vanilla. It'll be vaped but I prefer my NETs. It's better than it was last night though so that's good. I gave up all the dessert vapes quickly and went straight to tobacco early in my vaping and HT seems more like a dessert vape. I still have CAT to try and Shadow (which I've had before) so I'm looking forward to finishing this tank.

Robin, glad to hear you're both in better moods today. When mine was little she liked to help cleaning too.

April, have a safe flight out and back, and have fun flying those kites and don't forget to take pictures, OK?

Chimps, have fun fishing! and putting up the pool for Eli.

Beckums, hope your tummy makes it through dinner. Very sweet of you to visit with the friend of the family and celebrate his/her b-day.

RJ, sounds like you have a busy weekend too. Breaks away from the kids are a Godsend sometimes!
Seems funny to me that for as long as you've been vaping HHV juices you haven't tried them all by now. :D

Wishing the rest of the Army a great weekend! I'm off to count sheep.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes.. It was the most boring birthday ever and exactly what I wanted. Me and the lady basically figured where we were going to have our going away/engagement party and decided on elopement :)
SHe doesn't want anything fancy and we would rather use whatever funds we have on moving and taking a 2-3 week vacation to visit family in Europe. Well that last part is on her because I'd prefer to travel this country before any other(I would rather travel this country forever before I ever left) but the lady will get what she wants. She has family all over so we'd stay for free in a few different countries.
I found a new ring and maybe today I'll get it sized up and order it.) After all I really only have a month before she needs to give a month notice.

Infection all healed.. Today I'll have all new infections and I've already drank a days worth of coffee and eaten a ton of cheesecake to make up for no eating later.

Yeah, I have no desire to leave the country. There is enough here that I haven't seen to keep me busy for a long long time. What Bappo did recently (riding through the country) is much more my style.

My Mom and Dad eloped in Mississippi when my Mom was 15. That was in 1955 and they have been together ever since. She wore a red dress and the entire thing broke my Memaw's heart. Weddings can be EXPENSIVE.

Hey Chimps...what kind of pool are you getting? This is the first time in years that I haven't had one up. We had the Intex 48"x15'. I just wanted to see what a summer would be like without dealing with the pool so I didn't put one up.

That's the one. Figured it would work well for him until we think about buying a house and look into the possibility of getting a permanent one for the kids then.

Oh you will LOVE it!!! I have some tips and tricks. The main one is the instructions say you have to unhook the pump from the pool to change the filter. Nah...just raise the pump higher than the water level and you can change it without water gushing out or unhooking anything. I use my garbage can or if you have help someone can hold it up. I bought a battery powered vacuum too. The one that comes with it leaves a lot to be desired. And buy the proper chemicals. It makes a huge difference. I have the testing strips with the 6 things to check on it and I just make sure they are within the proper levels. I think there are 8 different chemicals I buy. But you'll figure it all out. I've had one of these for at least 10 years and I've learned a lot.

Glad to see you pull the trigger MP. There is no point in waiting anymore. The important thing is being with your girl. And having some money to buy a home together is far more important than having a big, expensive wedding. You're doing yourself a favor. Just try to have at least one important person in your life present at your nups.

You also sound like my mother who always said there is so much to see in this country before going to another country. I had a slight aversion to this because I go to Canada to fish. The fact of the matter is Canadian fishing blows away American fishing so if you want the best, you have to travel to the best. It just happens to be somewhere outside of the States. :)

Good luck MP. Keep making good, practical decisions. :)
