Here we are getting a 'cooler' front next week. I can't remember a July 4th when it wasn't at least 100. Forecasted high is 85! Celebrating the 4th with my family on Sunday, high of 86. We won't know how to act, without sweat rolling...

Only two and a half weeks until I head to the river for the week. I don't care how hot it is that week. The river is always cool and inviting. Me and my cubs are virtually immune to the jellyfish. I am just about ready for it, too. It has been a taxing few weeks at work. Not bad, but the 65 hour weeks are starting to weigh on even this lion.
I need a break. I need some sunshine, boating, days with my sons, and nights with my lioness. And sleep in quantities greater than 6-7 hours.
Have fun! I really wish I had realized sooner tht the 4th was on a Thursday this year cause I would have requested that Friday off too
I'm so looking forward to the holiday...need a break. I'm going to try talking hubby into closing the shop for the 4th - 7th..probably won't happen, but if I use my Diesel puppy dog eyes it might work
Ughh. I've had exactly one 4th of July off in the last 14 years. How's that for sucking. And I work evenings so no fireworks for me. Only good thing is its a paid holiday so I bank a ton that day.

Um, jellyfish in the river?
That's normal sleep for me also. 2 more days of 4:50 am. Vaca, then my new job starts. Don't have to be there until 7:45, so I can sleep til 6:30 every morning if I want to! I plan to start doing my running in the am tho, but even then I can sleep until 5:45.

My river house is on the Potomac River, about 15 miles from the Chesapeake Bay. The water is quite salty/brackish. Plenty of salt water type life in the river there.
Dolphins aplenty, too.

Morning again Army. Been at work a couple hours now and ready to call it a day and I haven't even had my first class yet. (Another hour to wait.) For some reason, I've got no energy at all!!!

AHA! You're correct - we have Box Jelly alerts at Waikiki too, and given we just had the full-super-moon 23rd? that would place the 10-12 day ETA right there on 4th July. There's always Saturday and Sunday though
Had to look it up on the map, that's so awesome to have a place there!
Find Hull Creek. The house is just downriver of that. We regularly visit Smith's Point Lighthouse in the Bay when the weather is good.

HHV Order placed Got some new flavors coming to try, but still didnt get a tobacco flavor yet. Now Im gonna go to sleep, wake up then go to work then go to class then come home and hopefully have a nice new Provari waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *fingers crossed*

Still considering a vacation. I looked up the prices at the place we love tonight as a matter of fact and almost had a heart attack.
I haven't even thought of the fourth. I do have that day off. Of course it'll be BBQ at Mom's. No brainer there.
Son is at his grandparents near the beach. I miss him dearly and have really just kind of sat around the entire time moping and going to work. Having trouble sleeping being alone. I don't like it at all. I think he's coming back tomorrow night. I did fill in my vaping spreadsheet. I'll break even within two months. And I need nothing for a long long time. I gave my ex most of my juice with PG in it. Made some room in the vape box. My Mom started smoking again, although I learned that from Dad. She won't admit it to me.
