Hot damn! I just rewicked my Phoenix Bully for the very first time and I have a hot coil. Not much vapor yet....but I have some! WOOT! 1.2 ohm. Is that too low? Hopefully the vapor gets better?!?!?! Talk about needing a magnifying glass. WHEW! Those holes are tiny and one of mine almost went down into the well too far. Had to get my tweezers to pull it through and by then the wire was all wonky and bent but I did it! Does the vapor get better after it's broken in? I will definitely use a longer wire next time so I have some wiggle room. Not too hard but I hope the vapor gets better.

Sounds like you might have too few wraps RJ. How many do you have? And how much silica are you using?

The wick needs to be wet at the level of the coil as well. What device do you use? If its vv or vw, adjust it up to around 3.4ish and it should have plumes of vapor.

I didn't feel left out. I figured you were just leaving it up to me to monkey my way in.

I'd definitely be up for a WSOP-sort of HHV Army Hold 'Em, although it might be a while to get some money together for the buy-in with the whole layoff and all.

Hey thanks! It was low and getting too hot so I rebuilt another one at 1.5 ohms. A little better. First was 5 wraps and the second 6 wraps. I only have one wick in the well and the other sticking up like in iknowaghost's tutorial. Vapor still isn't what I expect. I think I need to make the coil go in on a diagonal instead of all on one side of the posts. It's hard to get the wick in the well with it all being on one side. Any tips?

What is the ideal ohms and how many wraps should I be doing? It's also making me cough. The second coil is better though.
