OK...I did one more. 1.7 ohms. One strand of 2 mm silica wick and 32 gauge kanthal. 6 wraps. I did it on a diagonal this time with the coil in the middle of the two posts. Both wicks in the well. Much better. And it looks a lot cleaner. I'm gonna break this one in and keep using it and hopefully the vapor will get better. So far this is the best one out of the four!!!! WOW...that makes five total coils in one day! I'm on a roll!!!

Ugh! This is the hardest time of year here.
Went up north today to pick up my daughter from summer camp, at 6500 ft it's like a different world. Pine trees, 85 degrees...
She had a great time, I'm happy to have her home.
I think that's where I'd like to spend my time, somewhere up there in the pines, 85˚ and sunny skies!

RJ...standard for a Phoenix is two strands (1 - 1.5mm each) about an inch long. Five or six wraps of Kanthal 32ga.. Put both ends of the silica in the well. That should yield somewhere around 2.0 ohms and smoke like a chimney. Sounds like you are getting better.

Good morning! Sitting here realizing I ...... away the weekend and got nothing accomplished on my to do list. Gotta make another Vivi coil, do bills, take a shower, some laundry, cut all the grass, go to Mom's, grocery store. My Phoenix is still hitting. I have no idea how y'all get all those drops in them. I can't put more than 5 drops and it's full.
