HEY ARMY! How y'all doing..
3 weeks till I get my ring.. :O Estimated arrival of July 22nd and estimated proposal of July 23rd :)
I have a basic idea of where I'll do it but I'm not putting much fuss into it..
Before me and my lady started dating we hung out in the park by the Whitestone bridge for about 3 months almost every day over coffee and just chatted.
She was "dating" someone else who wasn't giving her 100% and we just bonded I think with conversation and good times. The moment they broke up I swept in and since then we really haven't gone back as much.. I figure that's a great place and a great setting so close under the bridge :) I'm not one for OMG moments with candles and bla bla bla so what ya think?

Picc, it sounds PERFECT! The sentimental value of where and how a man proposes (so I am told), cannot be measured, nor taken too lightly!

Well you got a ring, more than I can say for when I proposed 8.5 years ago! I wanted to get a ring I could afford, however she and the soon-to-be mother-in-law had a family heirloom that my wife's great great grandmother wore, and they REALLY wanted me to use it. Who was I to say no? :D

Of course, to make it up to her, as some of you may remember, I splurged this last Christmas and get her a nice diamond ring AND matching earrings! I figure every ten yearsish, to upgrade. I am fortunate though, in that my better half does not care much for bling and would never (so she says) want a huge rock.

We'll see...

Some (Hula and Becky Blue for instance) would say that Huntsman, DH's big brother, is likely to be the forerunner in that challenge.

Whats everyone favorite tobacco from heathers? So far it's DH for me. The only one's I haven't tried yet are Sludge, Huntsman, and Army, but they are all on the way. Curious to see if any will knock DH from the top of my list.

The next CASAA member meeting is Thursday July 11th. So, not this Thursday but next Thursday. I know better than to schedule a meeting on July 4th! ;)

What would I do without you and Robin to keep me straight? Thanks Kristin. I am sure I would have checked the email eventually...
