We bought the Acadia and have had it for a couple of years, IG. My wife LOVED the Traverse, until she drove it followed by the Acadia. I really like the third-row side windows on the Acadia better, as they are not the itty-bitty triangles that the Traverse has (or at least had when we were looking 2 years ago). Between those windows, and something about the way the Acadia "felt" made the decision for us, and she loves the Acadia now as much as she did when we bought it. Congratulations on whichever one you end up with!!

Thanks for the input...I will make sure I test drive both before making a decision. I need to relax and take my time..but do get so excited.

I hope everyone has a Fabulous July 4th holiday, if traveling stay safe. I don't plan on being around much with our schedule but am sure I will very much enjoy my holiday.

You want to know what's scary...my dear sweet husband never really proposed to me.. I guess we just knew we'd be together forever. We laugh about it from time to time...but there was just a point we decided to set a date and here we are:laugh:

Same here. In fact I don't even recall how an actual wedding date all came about, but same as you, we were soulmates and still are, after 20 years. :) We had our honeymoon on the Queen Mary and then off to Disneyland and Universal Studios. I mean! Where the heck do you go when you live in Waikiki?

Can you believe that makes three of us. I remember it was on Valentine's Day when we started going together, but the actual setting of a date to marry came out of the blue - we both had a long weekend off so we drove out to Las Vegas. Honeymoon a couple months afterwards in Yosemite. It'll be 28 years in August. Also like CT, my gal didn't want a big rock either. Whew! She's never been one for wearing much jewellery.

Well, I think, I finally got caught up and again it's time to hit the hay. Ya'll have a great hump day.

Oops, missed a couple...

I hope by "died" you were just meaning that the batteriest needed charging, cause if not that would really suck :(

Yes, they were just lacking charge. The 4 Twists and the Spinner have been in rotation since last Oct. or so. Not sure how much longer they'll last.

Good morning Army!! Got the car all packed up and Diesel's in his crate, we're heading North!! :D

Like I said earlier, have fun and stay safe, Slim.

Beckums, Love that Pop ring! :D

EDIT: Bridget and Dusty glad to hear you're enjoying your vacations, too!!!!
(It does look like a squirrel from the pic. Beats me, though.)

Bridge, hard to tell from your photo...my best guess is a groundhog.

I had what I thought was a squirrel in my attic (about ten years ago). I set a trap and could not catch it. We moved at that time and found out the new owners caught it. It was an exotic flying squirrel or some such thing from Asia. Cost several hundred dollars to buy. Someone lost their pet.

Seeing that I am currently hungry, I'd say that's a Taco!

It looks kinda like a muskrat

Just over 7 hours of driving and we are almost there :) Diesel has been sleeping on the passenger floor the entire trip except for potty breaks

Nice, Slim, you managed to pick out a good temporarily little passenger, too! But you've just sorta forced me to post this now:p -

Just don't tell me if you're a fan of that one, okay:laugh:?

I liked Bronze's idea because it made me think of my guy:2cool:!

No guess from me, Bridget, but I'm glad to hear that you're relaxing in the midst of Mexico's mysteries!

I second ALL those motions (especially the Huntsman one :D)
Hows it going dancing girl? Are you teaching the Steinbeck?

Good morning, Army:)!

I know that it's just dazzling, but...:p
Your girl is gonna be on cloud nine with whatever proposal you decide to go with, MrPicC...how exciting!!
Fun catch-up reading about the early days for some of you and your soulmates!
Enjoy the heck out of that new Fender, 73! What an excellent score!
Wow, Chak, glad you caught up on some rest. My six period days used to knock me out. That class I mentioned starts up today, then three tutoring sessions...in other words, a fraction of a fraction of all your typical days, but it's a start.
Headphone therapy sounds like a fabulous idea to me, Frantic

Hey Miss Robin-have you sung any more gigs? How's that going as I seemed to have missed any updates other than the one time and idiots who didn't select you?

Speechless.......

You too Dusty?! Sheesh! Make 1 (or two or three) little booboo's and it never goes away. :sneaky:

Gosh I don't know. Difficult to ID but the body looks very smooth otherwise I'd have said a groundhog, a woodchuck a squirrel, a coipu, or maybe someone's pet ferret?......There. That was very helpful wasn't it.....

Edited after reading Bridget's post....

AHA! I HAVE it - it's a rodent called an Aguati!

Hiya, Hula! Okay, so get this...I was all geared up for my first class (except that I over-caffeinated myself and was a little concerned about that). Just as I was about to head out the door this morning, I think to check my email (I really hate doing that...long story). They changed the first day of class to next Tueday:facepalm:. I was disappointed, not relieved, which I was happy to recognize. Feels less serious when it can be changed so easily:unsure:. But I just finished tutoring two ESL students whose reading comprehension and writing abilities have really improved, so that cheered me a lot.

We're all better rodent taxonomists today:2cool:!

And I should've guessed it 'cause I am VERY familiar with those little guys...they're in crossword puzzles all the time:facepalm:.

How goes it in paradise?
