At the end of Day 3 - smoked 8 analogs
Day 4 - smoked 8 analogs
Day 5 - smoked 4 analogs (so far, and almost time to turn in for the night)
So here's my update - it is getting harder and harder to smoke real cigarettes. OMG, this is crazy. I actually am not liking the taste of a real smoke anymore! So why do I keep smoking the real ones? I don't want to, but sometimes my body feels like it really needs one. Especially after meals, when I wake up, and after I have gone a long while without vaping (i.e., at work.) I guess I really need my nicotine fix and quick! If I "vape all day", as Bullette says, I can go a long, long time without an analog.
So onto all my rookie mistakes & questions, once again.
At the beginning of all this, it was recommended that I buy 2 batteries so I always have a spare, so I did. But I didn't know my wife was going to like vaping so much. So she's got the spare, all day, too. So last night, I'm happily vaping away when my 1000 ego dies. No prob, the wife is asleep, I'll use hers. Two minutes later, her 650 ego dies. Damn. Got to charge them both up at the same time. What looked to be a 4 cigarette day quickly became an 8 cigarette day. So I thought, got to buy some more ego-c twists! I looked online and found a really good deal at a place called Virgin Vapors - and the ego-c twists are on sale @ $17.99 for the 650mAh and $19.99 for the 1000mAh. That sounds like a good price to me, so I bought two more egos (both Stainless Steel 650mAh) so here's a link if anyone else wants to get some spares:

While I was there, I got another Vivi Nova tank for myself (since the wife confiscated the other one) and a 15 pack of Boge LR cartos that I plan to test the new flavors in - one flavor per carto with no mixing (thx for the tip, @SimboSlice.) To make sure I give them a fare shake, I'll try my trusty Silver Leaf menthol in one of the cartos first to make sure the taste is fairly accurate to what I am used to. I also bought a few miscellaneous items, too.
I also went back to Puresmoker.com and ordered some more SLM flavor. (Man, they ship quick and taste good, but their bottles are hard to use.) So I spent about $140 more today (so far.) Damn, I thought I'd save money if I quit smoking.
I'm in the process of cleaning my atty (waiting for it to dry overnight) so I can get back to my preferred vaping method. Been using the dual coil carto all day, and it's ok, but not nearly as nice as the atty. So I figured I need some more 306 atty's, but after reading @MaxP's and @Hydrophoid's de-bridged recommendation, I decided not to try it on my own because (1) my eyes suck and I will probably mess it up, and (2) I will almost definitely mess it up, and (3) okay, I WILL DEFINITELY MESS IT UP. So I started looking on my own, and found these:
AERO 306 Bridgeless Atomizer - Avid Vaper
and
GoodSense Vapor - GSV306
Now from what I read on these boards and on some vendor sites, it looks like it's not a good idea to use the 306 LR atty higher than 3.7V. Apparently, doing so
"may greatly reduce the life of your ego battery." So the first link, at 1.5ohm, may not be the best for me. I like to vape at about 4.0V - 4.2V. Plus, it's a bit pricey. The second link has the option of 1.5ohm or 2.0ohm, which they say
"works amazingly well with a VV device!!" So I'm thinking about picking up some of those at 2.0ohm. BUT, I always believe that you get what you pay for, and since they are half the price of the others, maybe they're not as good? Does anyone have any opinions about this? And is using one of these just as good as if I de-bridged one myself? What about the 1.5 vs 2.0 ohms?
As far as Mr. Vision Clearo Ver.3, I am not happy with that dude. Once again, it just crapped out and now won't even make a gurgling sound anymore. So I'm stuck with Mr. Dual Coil Carto until Mr. Atty is dry and Mr. Vivi (for driving) arrives in the mail. But I definitely need some friends for Mr. Atty, so I will await your responses to my "de-bridged" question above before placing that order.
On another subject, I really don't like how the Vivi tank sits on the ego. It's just a breakage waiting to happen. I really liked the product in the comment above from @Yves as follows:
If you do buy one then you will most likely want a collar for it that makes your battery look nice Like this the C is for the 3.5 ml tank and the D is for the 2.0 ml tank you will find them at other vendors, this was the clearest picture I could find for you to see. This just covers the treads on the battery and gives the tank a little support on your battery. eGo Steel Sleeve Cone (Type C / Type D) [F-D7 DC TypeCD] - $2.50 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail
They also have a cool looking battery that I kind of like, not VV, but it says 4.2V so I thinking that would be good for me anyway:
Engraved eGo K 900mAh Battery
But that company is in China, so I'm not sure about ordering from them. Like how long would it take to get, will I get genuine merchandise or cheap copies, what if the stuff is DOA or quits after a day (expensive to return to China, right?), etc. So I looked around and found that LiteCigUSA has similar products to the sleeve collar, but I'm not sure if it would work with my Vivi Nova tanks, since they are made for DCT tanks. Here's the links:
EGO Stainless Steel 3.5ml DCT Tank Cone
EGO Stainless Steel 5ml DCT Tank Cone
So if anyone has any clue if these would work, or better yet, if you know where I can get sleeve cones made for the Vivi Nova here in the USA, please let me know.
Also, I was browsing the many posts and pics here on the e-cigarette forum and noticed a cool looking skull drip tip:
GotVapes SKULL Drip Tip 510 - GOLD [gv-SKULLDripTip-GOLD] - $7.25 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more
Would this work on my 306 atty? If not, does anyone know of any other cool looking drip tips like these for the 306? Or even that one - is it possible to use with my nova - maybe with some sort of adapter? I bet there are a bunch out there, not really important, just thought it might be fun to have one.
So, another update: I found a store that just opened in the SF valley of Los Angeles. Now I've read reviews of their other store (on Westwood Blvd. in L.A.) that they're expensive, etc., but I figure I will go check them out soon and try some of their flavors.
That could save me a ton of money on buying all these sample vapor packs, even if their vapors are a bit much. And @$1.00 per ml (I've read), that's not too bad anyways. If you know them and have an opinion, let me know, but I'm going their no matter what - I'm glad to find a local B&M store to check out stuff in person. Here's the link for other Valley girls and dude like me:

Lastly for the night (you're not really still reading all of this, are you?), I was at Best Buy today looking at TV's (our main TV crapped out last week

) and outside the store I saw two employees smoking those funny looking white things

, what do you call them, oh yea, cigarettes, and I was tempted to go up to them and say,
"Hey dudes, you need to get yourself one of these" and whip out my 12" long ego twist/carto. Yea, having 12" in my pocket makes me feel manly!

But yes, I'm still a novice and not yet off those damn analogs myself, so I'll keep my mouth shut until I can tell them "it worked for me!"
