I think they are both the v2. Health cabin has a stainless model as well, so no chinese mystery metal. I've had mine for a little over a week now and love it! My first vv, I had vw with a kick before this, though and kinda still prefer vw. Great thing about the vamo is it does it all, and with the rms (no. 2) feature, it's pretty darn accurate too! Thing that sold me on it though was 1. a flat top instead of a tapered head, looks better with wide rba's like an aga t or terminator, and 2. multiple battery configurations. Can go from stacked 18350's or 18650's to a single 18350 mini. I acctually got mine in a co-op with 2 extra battery tubes so if I wanted I can stack 2 18650's for lightsabre mode!

Love my vamo, I think you made the right choice!

Another vote for the VAMO. I love mine. It's huge, yes, and you could beat people to death with the thing it's so heavy.

If you hate that, use an 18350 battery instead and remove the tube extension. It'll cost you on battery life, but really shrinks the unit. Just carry extra batteries!

It's not as stylish as some I've seen, but I like it. I'm not all that stylish myself!

Cheapest vamo I've found. 50$ for the whole kit, includes batteries and charger. I've never purchased from them but that's a crazy good price for the whole kit.
