Hello! I like to buy a mod :)

So vamo its good? :)

People do seem to rave about them. Is it built as solidly as a Provari? No, and at that price I wouldn't expect it.

I'm not hard on my toys, so that doesn't bother me too much. If I were constantly vaping on a rooftop somewhere, I'd worry more. The farthest mine's ever fallen is 3 feet to carpeting.

Just another option to throw in there in your price range. The Ovale / Segelei v8 Incremental VV $30 for a gripper box mod that has variable voltage. Has ohm and battery meter. DV has a $9 leather pouch/lanyard for this for, too.

lowest i have seen is $100 on the smoke Zmax and $80 on the sigelei, the smok one is just higher priced because the company Smok enforces the price for its vendors,
i have both, the sigelei is much much better built and even comes with an extra battery cap so you can use any sized 18650's as well as two 18350's were as with the smok version you have to pay an extra $8 for that cap.

i have two vamo's they work great too but are a bit blocky and lacking any style and basic but very functional , the vamo and zmax are very similar in there usage both are vv/vw and both can use 18650/18359's the rest is basically aesthetics and controls.
the vamo is very basic looking squared off edges and three button control, the Zmax is more rounded and comfortable in hand and uses a one button control and has a Oled scrolling display if you get the sigelei the smok version does not.

I just see a box mod on madvapes.com
Variable Volt Box Mod Kit
its look like fun thing to install\
Fun to build yes. Crap though. I owned three of the pre-assembled VV boxes from this site and all three of them failed miserably back in my atty dripping days. Juice gets down inside of the electronics and just eats them. The 510 connection eventually comes loose and you end up spinning the wires off. It wouldn't be such a big deal if you could get to the electronics and fix it, but everything is gooped into place by something that looks like silicon but acts like epoxy.

They work great while they last, are prone to explode into pieces if dropped, but if you get one, consider it a 2-4 month disposable PV.
