Hello everyone Im a Noob, and New to the Forums here. Friday i got talk into buying my Smoke 51, from the Mall Rats( said with a little bit of love) anyways it is the Smoke 51 Trio( www.smoke51.com) well anyways, I would like to know what type of model it is, last night i would told 2 different numbers, so they said you all over here would know for sure, So here Iam knocking at your door.
Another question and this is gonna sound crazy, but i find if i hold my fingers around the filter i get better pulls off the e-cig, it is like it has 2 tiny little air holes where the atty screws in, and they are probably there for a reason, So my question is, am I hurting my unit by covering them when i smoke like that?

I have a alot to learn. I have to figure out the best place to buy supplies and spare parts before i need them, know what i mean. Anyways thanks for being here for people like me. I look forward getting to know you all.

Tara:rolleyes::confused:

Howdy Tara;
The holes are for air flow.

The auto battery you have is triggered by a vacuum switch. If the switch is stiff, covering one hole will increase the vacuum to turn on the battery. Covering one will usually cut off the airflow entirely.

It's a shame you overpaid for your e-cig, but that's in the past. Now that you have it, you can make the most of it inexpensively. Don't listen to the people who tell you to junk it, and buy something else. You'll eventually be looking at other models, but make it your decision and not theirs. Do it when your ready.

There are a lot of good documents posted for identification of models, problem solving, and general information. I'll give you links to some great information, but they're posted in another Froum. You can download them to your computer for future reference. The Troubleshooting Guide link is in my sig.

Here are a few more that will help you out;

Thank you very much for replying and taking the time to post the links. weather it is junk or not, I happen to like it and the more i play around with the more comfortable im with it. So far the battery life is being awesome on it and , i had a package of dried out carts and the Sales person i bought it from felt to so bad she replaced and gave me a free box, oh well, but i do need to get some parts ect for the just in case. Im really excited about this. I have not given up on analogs completily yet, Figured i would finish what i have.

I have never been a smoker that liked flavor, but i got these Cherry prefilled carts and I really like them ALOT, never thought i would say that. I like the prefilled carts very easy for me and convienent, but i have to find me a supplier that cheap and wont rip me off. But any ways thank you for replying

Tara:)

Hi I have the Trio and At first i didnt think i was gonna like it, Im very new to this, But im liking it and it was fun yesterday i was blowing smoke ring in the air with it. I got it so I could stop smoking analogs. maybe it isnt the best and over priced, but for now it is what im using. I like my battery life with it and the Cherry Carts i got with it. Once i learn more about this ecigs i will upgrade but for now im this Trio will have to do.

DonDaBoomVape,
I took your advice and ordered the 4081 from AquaVapor. (You mentioned the site in another thread). I am a newbie and I tried to figure all of this out myself.:oops: (menopausal female....go figure LOL) Anyhow I ordered the starter set but also ordered some other things but now I wondering if the other things I ordered will be compatable with the 4081. Duh...........I guess calling the company was too much to think about at the time.:rolleyes:

Anyhoo............I am looking forward to ridding myself of the analogs and become a vaper! Have you ever seen these used in a casino? Just wondering what reactions I would have if I pulled one out!
