I believe you may be mistaken as 106 gigs of available disk space sounds reasonable. Memory is different than disk space.
Disk space is for storage and memory is for calculations. Memory would normally be 1-8GB total but that's irrelevant to my original assessment.
I hope you still don't have the case off of your PC. The case needs to be on typically to cause air movement in the proper areas.
Maybe you don't have any issue and the problems you've seen are just random events. If you continue to see freezes or BSODs then you might want to have your system reviewed by a professional.
You're right about the memory. I was looking in the wrong place. I have 2 gigs of memory with 865mb available.
I'm way past due for a reformat but I hate to do that so I've procrastinated.
My system has been running fine all along so why fix what isn't broke. That's what I use to justify putting it off.
