Makes you wonder if he is compensating for something!?!? Lol

Congratulations Dusty!

Not trying to compensate for anything Mr. Smartypants! I've just put the machines I have access to, to work on this project!! I've been lucky in that I have not yet been directly affected by some of the diseases that F@H is working on, but I care enough about the folks that have to do the best that I can to help.

Apparently "somebody" in our IT department made a fuss about leaving machines on with the processors going all the time. My manager has asked if I can perhaps limit it to just our groups machines.. I may end up losing most of my active clients come next week.

Sorry folks, I gave it my best shot. I'll try and keep folding on as many machines as I can until the next idiot comes along and raises a stink about it.

yay! first job finally done!

hahhaa. apparently, my nickname has been used by someone in the past. (cuz i don't remember folding back in 2007, and i think i'd remember... yes, i think i would!) sure makes my point total look impressive though.

(I did change my nick, because that felt not-right... however, i'm wondering if that'll make me not get all the points for the work order i just spent the last billion years working on *ponder*)

Lots of people can have your name, but it is when you look at your name and your team # that is what you should look at.

I even have my name with several groups over the years, but I have to say that I have never gotten points so quickly thanks to obviously the new hardware but also the gpu addition to folding.

/me gets into old man voice and routine

"You younger folding whipper snappers and your fangled gpu folding.. when I was a kid we didn't have gpu folding and our folding clients were just screensavers.... now damn you kids get off my proteins!

Hoping one of you might know the answer to this and if not I will look for it tomorrow. I leave the client open all night and while I'm at work. Well when I open it, it will start 3 wu's. When I get up in the morning or get home from work it is only working on one. For whatever reason once 2 of them are done it won't start 2 new ones but just drops to a single one. If I pause the client for a second and then resume, then it will download 2 additional wu's.

Anyone know why this is and how to keep it working on 3 at all times?

You should keep your name the same I think. If you look at my stats there are quite a few groups under my name even though I've only folded for ecf. I added a passkey like someone suggested but it doesn't seem to separate me from the other kmh.

"Think" I might know what it is. When I started it up I got a message saying my gpu driver crashed and recovered and I noticed 1 of the 3 wu's was locked up with a now unknown eta. I guess it did it again while I was in the shower as when I came back another one was missing.

So I'm thinking it is placing a wu on my cpu, and the other 2 wu's on my 2 gpu's which might be causing a problem as I had them in SLI configuration and they are acting like one large gpu. I disabled the SLI so each card can work separately. Will see if it works in the morning.
