Now the RIO is a nice e-cig when it doesn't have problems. I absolutely love the way they smoke and customers tell me this all the time..I've just had way too many problems with the batteries, namely the switch... This switch is crazy sensitive and it seems very susceptible to liquid damage compared with the "mechanical* switch.

I'm thinking about changing over to a manual or auto switch 801, similar to the Janty Kissbox. The question I have for you guys is:

Do you like the idea?
Should I include both manual and auto switches (or just manual?)
Would you guys be interested in standalone "upgrade" packages that would just include the batteries and charger, but no atomizers?

What colors would you like to see? Black, white.. etc?

I've tested out the manual switch extensively and absolutely love it. I haven't used the auto switch component nearly as much, but I think it is pretty cool with the little LED light on the side...

Let's hear your ideas!

Hey there,
I bought my kits from you and am one of those that has been having many problems with the batteries. It has already had an atomizer failure do to this. The switches stick very bad. You sent me some replacements but all four are going crazy. The originals sometimes work better than the new ones. they seem to be off again on again. Would love to see manual batteries available for the Rio's.It would be a Godsend. Please let me know when you get them:D

Yeah.. I had some more kits on order but today I e-mailed my rep and told her today was the last straw. I'm spending way too much time and money fixing problems. I like to take care of my customers, and always will, but I've been taking care of them too much as of late due to the switch problems :)

I just emailed you about the Rio batteries. Manual switches are what I will be looking for in the future.

Yep, for sure. The replacements will go out tomorrow. One thing about these switches is that they're so sensitive to liquid..And there's liquid just centimeters away in the atomizer.. Go figure. One thing you can try is just be extra careful about the liquid that it doesn't get inside..That includes storing it atomizer side down, and not ever blowing into the switch. Besides that..Well, they've just been trouble. Those little buggers

you know... i really like the switch in the rio , but if i had an option for an "upgrade" kit , that contained manual batteries so i could switch out... i'd be down for something like that for sure

Yeah.. The good ones are awesome but there's not enough of those! :|

Oh, I sent you that cream e-juice sample.. Let me know how that works out..

Since the Rio was my first experience:oops: , I read every post I could find on maintaining the atomizer and battery. I don't drip....yet, just use the carts and top them off every now and again. I never saw any liquid on the battery connections, but it could have happened. One minute it was working fine and the next it was dead. The light on the battery will flash when I put it in the charger but the light on the charger will immediately go from red to green. The other battery flashes on alot, and stays on too long. Like you said....little buggers.

Ben, your Service and Support are top notch. Superb!

Hi I am not expert on this...but I do own a m401....these all come with the newer mic switches...I only drip with the 401s and they never have liquid getting in the battery problems. Other manufacturers use these switches for the 801, 901, 510... its seems to have no problems of liquid getting in there and killing the battery. My 401s get so much liquid in the battery....yet these are my workhorse ecigs. My normal switches would always get stuck after a few weeks of heavy use, but not my 401s. It might be that your supplier is using cheaper batteries...try another source maybe.

I've never had 1 with a manual switch. Still fairly new to ecigs. I own a M401, DSE801, & a RN4072. Never had a prob with juice in batts. Am interested in trying a manual switch when I recover some financially from the cost I've incurred so far.

Would like to vote for dark purple, pretty red, and maybe a Hunter green. That would be cool.

syntaxevasion....I would hold off purchasing anything else since I think that the Nebula is the way to go. I've heard so many people raving about the LTv9 clones. These same people weren't too happy about the LTv9...but they think the clones beat anything...including the 801s, 901s, 401s, the cigars etc. The only think that I heard competes with it is the minipipe. I can tell you the minipipe is an awesome device...beats the hell out of any penstyle or mini. However....the failure rate is very high with the ats and the switches are very expensive. If I were you I wouldn;t get anything else until you get feedback on your Nebulas. I have bought one from you and I will definitely give you a honest opinion. I can tell you if it vapes anywhere near as well as the minipipe....it will make the 901s and 801s and the minipipe immediately obsolete. Think about it it no more dripping....cartridge last for 20 cigs worth and can be refilled....you simply can't beat that.

Thanks for the input on that... I'm leaning toward this..while continuing to provide carts and atomizers for the pen, mostly so existing customers can stay happy.. :)
