Slight update. I have some TV Kretek 24mg I was sent about a month back, but hadn't tried it yet. I loaded up a carto with it, and it's pungent enough that it's satisfying! It doesn't taste like clove cigs, like the intent, but it's icky enough to be satisfying like a cig. Who knew that I would need something slightly icky to be satisfied? And here I was going to try to stay away from TV because of the owner's attitude. I think attitude aside, if his juice keeps me off of cigs that's all that matters.

EWW! I hate Snus...it burns!

As for upgrades-I wish I could afford an upgraded mod, but I can't. I could barely afford the Tornado when I ordered it. The LR atty's I got on accident from the HSG order help a bit though.

You can't get much closer to a mod, than using a Tornado batt with an LR atty, so don't fret! Personally, I think my Ego/LR combo works better than my mod -- It may not hit quite as hard, but it's more consistant. (I wouldn't give UP my mod , but the simulated version is pretty darn close!)

What exactly is Tobacco Absolute? Thanks.

TA is a tobacco flavoring. This thread gives a ton of good info on using it and EM to make a good ciggy flavor (both sweet and regular). Thanks to OnestopDIYshop, I have lots :) ... if you want some just PM me your addy.

Do you do any DIY? They sell clove drops too. Have you tried making something to simulate your old ciggy? I have found that the homemade recipes are the mose satisfying to me. Now I do LIKE some of the store ones (like from MsT's ect) but my all day vapes are homemade recipes (there are tons of good peeps making up recipes and sharing, you just need to ask :) )

I have some stuff for DIY, haven't had much luck with it yet. I used to smoke menthol cigs rolled in menthol tubes. I do have some ECOpure menthol...might have to take one of you up on the tobacco flavor samples.

For me it was just finding the right juice... I couldn't give up the morning and after dinner smoke and the occasional smoke for the first 2 months.
Halo Freedom works for me... direct dripping with a drip tip also helps.
Vaping that takes away those painful times.
I am now very careful only to use it in those dire times...
I'll have to find another Halo juice to vape everyday...

Sorry your hubby is not supportive of you extending your life. Does he "smoke" inside your home, inside the car, and are you having to live in that icky "smoke" environment?
Give yourself a giant hug for overcoming this environment and insisting on taking responsibility for your own health. Keep vaping.

I see you have received some great suggestions on this thread and I know these will work for you.

We did not acquire the "smoking" habit overnight and we certainly can let go of it now that we have an alternative that works, vaping.

I support you being wherever you are in this process.

These tough moments are why ECF is so powerful and you are an important part of this tribe...be tough, stick with your plan, vape on, leave those icky "smokes" alone.

Well said, this is almost what I'd consider AA for smokers :p

He's a non-smoker. Never been a smoker. I did get him to say that he'd rather I don't go back to cigs, he wishes I didn't have the nic addiction at all. He doesn't look at vaping as quitting, rather replacement of method of delivery. :glare:

I was a menthol smoker too (well, still working on quitting) along with marlboro lites. One of my favorite vapes has a very light menthol taste. Natura is the AWESOMEST peep that shared her recipe with me. I will send you a sample and you can see if you like it. (and some of the TA too)
Hopefully we will all find something to help you!! :)

Well technically us vaping is actually replacing our means of getting nicotine but in a safer and more environmentally safe way. But the funny thing is people say nicotine is still bad for you. But in reality nicotine is comparible to caffeine from what ive heard.

    Somewhere between here and there
lilith, I may be off base here but perhaps you are missing the whole tobacco alkaloids that are in cigarettes and is not in our liquids. There is a very good and long thread in the nicotine forum called " are we getting it". I found that after a couple months of vaping only that I was having a hard time concentrating and felt as if I was slipping into depression. That's when I got some advice from Tropical Bob and a few other members that have been around the block a time or two. I figured out that it was the alkaloids that I was missing. I know you already said that you thought snus was gross but so did I at first. Now I use a combination of vaping, snus , and snuff. If you cannot get satisfied from vaping alone, there are other alternatives. It did not matter for me how strong of liquid I vaped, it still felt like something was missing. I wish you the best of luck.

I have been feeling like this but its almost a month and seems to be getting better. Everyone is different and I had a few rough days, but we can make it.
