With co-ops there is first an interest
thread in the co-op forum. If you are interested in one of the co-ops just post your interest. When the co-op goes live it will get moved to the Active Co-op section. There you say what you want. When the co-op is full the co-op operator will send out invoices for payment. When all payments are made he/she will send the money to the manufacturer and they will fulfill the order and send it to the co-op operator who then mails the items to the members in the co-op. You need to follow these
threads everyday as things change and updates are made. If you aren't paying attention and don't get your payment in on time then you will get bumped by the first person on the reserve list and most likely not be able to get in that operators co-ops again in the future. Co-ops are a good way to get things for less then retail but they take longer than if you
buy retail and they are risky. There are a lot of ways for a co-op to go bad. Too many to list here but most have been successful. Just read a few of the interest threads and active co-ops thread to get an idea of how they work.
