raised the coil more made the tails longer and thinner (because i keep hearing if you're gonna let them that deep thin them out more)

after all i've done before this rewick i was still getting dry hits galore even though not long before it was fine.... Starting to thing i've got a dud one now.....
There are some duds out there reported. Those new pictures look similar to what I had good luck with. My only problem with SMM was I couldn't get flavor as good as Nano. It was good flavor, just not good enough.

Well either way i still appreciate the advices and help <3
But yeah might be a dud since idk if it's normal but my afc ring dosen't stay in place, everytime i turn it it kinda slips downwards and when i push it back up there's juice coming out from that tiny crack between.

Edit: i will say though i finally had a taste of the hazlenut it was magnificient
Your tip might've finally helped me but to be continued

Did you try flipping AF ring, mine would only lock if right side was up?

There's a groove on mine so it only fits one way (i did try flipping it over and fitting it but no success)
I think it's just slack from all the leaks and stuff i've had since yesterday,i always let it fully opened anyway, not my biggest issue tbh as long as i don't loose it ofc :p

I don't like rdta with the deck above the juice. It seems to take to long for the juice to go up those long wicks. What I learned as far as getting it to wick well is to just barely float your wick ends so they don't actually touch the bottom of the well. Wicks through the ends way better than the sides of the cotton. A shot in the dark here but possibly the coil has left over heat and is pulling enough juice to make it drip every once in a while after you hit it. Not sure if that's even possible. I would fire it a few times with the top off and just watch it.

So after some more vaping and testing i've noticed that my "leaks" whenever i filled it was more of an air bubble since i always push it out on my first vape and it dosen't leak tons just a bit in the afc ring area (above the ring and from the airflow holes themselves) nothing major though.

For wicking, this tank has too many different opinions and it seems there's no "real" way of doing it but Leititia's way seemed to have worked since i got 0 dry hits since i did it and even vaped to the bottom of the tank with no issues, not tempting my chances with the juice well so i refilled but heck it's not as bad when it wicks well.
Atm biggest con i see is the fact that thing has a small capacity and it drinks like hell other than that not too bad.

You have about two mls you can't see in the deck, it does hold 4ml, you just can't see all of it.

So after having vaped the smm for the last 2 days i might've finally found out the fix to the juice in the airflow ring:
I was usually pushing out some air/vapor before inhaling from the drip tip, after reading couple reddit threads seems that this could be the issue, stopped doing it and it seems much less bad than it was. My only last issue atm is fixing the darn juice bubbles when i refill it, then again that's the least of my worries.

NB: i'm mostly updating this in case others have similar issues or if someone was to do a google search and end up here.

Edit: to anyone reading this check your top part's o-rings, after more reddit reading found out someone changed an o-ring and that fixed it, after checking mine the smaller one around where the driptip had a small dent in it, changed it and 0 leaks since then, not from the top or bottom airflow, although i still don't push before inhaling now just in case and i still do put it upside down after refilling before opening the airflow. apart from that the taste has been coming back now (pretty sure i still need to rewick but it's fine for now)
