We are all "buddies" and try to help each other...and have some fun at the same time.

Hey buddy, I'm out...can I bum a smoke?

Sure! We all remember being out and could depend on another smoker to come to the rescue.

Am I the only one who's upset with the tons of come-on adds on the Net and radio as well as smoke shops, convenient stores, and malls offering e-cigarettes with little to no nicotine?

The first time vaping experience is important. Not everyone finding the experience unsatisfying will research and find the ECF and then go shopping again.

Many who have found vaping less than satisfying have shrugged off E-cigarettes as nothing but a novelty item. Many can’t even be talked into trying one again.

Offering a long-term smoker an E-cigarette with low levels of nicotine is like tossing a tic-tac to a hungry whale.

Never did understand the "business logic" behind those selling e-cigarettes (knowing in advance) many long-term smokers will not be satisfied.

Maybe it's a combination of low quality units and low levels of nicotine?

Maybe I am just taking this scenario a little too personal.
What do you think?

My only experience seeing e-cigs in a retail setting is 7-11 and they offer 18mg which isn't to bad.. Don't know if they have kiosks in the mall here I avoid going there at all costs lol.. Don't think I've ever heard an e-cig radio spot before.

My first experience with ecigs was over a year ago and after 2 days I gave it up due to real crappy hardware, which I bet turns off alot of people I only paid like $30 for the kit I had but I hear about people on here paying $100-200 for some real crappy kit at a mall kiosk that craps out after a few days, the lucky ones find this site or others like it but I imagine far more people just say F.. it and keep smoking analogs.

Petrodus, I whole-heartedly agree.

The only retail pvs we have around here are the xhales at 7-11, but I broke down the cost, and I think it was about $150 for 15-20ml of juice. I refilled a couple their "carts" and it only took 3, maybe 4 drops. If you figure that there are 20 drops in a ml, their 10 pack of "carts" costs $15 - for 1.5ml (mayyybe 2ml) worth of juice. This will just eventually tell a smoker that it costs the same and is easier to buy a pack of smokes and light one, especially since you only get one batt in their kit, and it isn't going to last you all day.

I want to get together a bunch of better quality kits to give to people, but I'm not rich, so this will take time. I've been thinking about throwing vaping parties so people could sample them with unopened prefill carts too, but how Mary Kay is that?

If I were to have, say, 10 people over, what would you think you would have been convinced by? Remembering back to your first time vaping experience.

Good to hear that you agree and considering giving others a vaping opportunity.

I use a similar way of sharing the E-cigarette experience with others. I usually vape with the eGo in public because I can depend on it to create clouds of vapor on demand and no one will mistake it for an analog.

When I see someone smoking I pretend to ignore them and create a few heavy clouds of vapor. In most cases they they ask if I am using one of those Electronic cigarettes they heard about?

As we all know the first question smokers asks...Does it really taste like smoke? And the 2nd is how long has it been since you stopped smoking cigarettes.

I always carry 5 or more new unused cartridges.

I then remove the cartridge, pop in a new one, and "direct drip" a couple of drops and say...Here try it out and tell me what you think. The reactions are always the same...WOW it really does taste like smoke.

I always carry a few unused carts, too! When somebody comes back and tells me that they are vaping, and they've converted their friends, etc., it just gives me warm fuzzies...:)

I need to order some ecf business cards, too, now that I'm thinking of it!

Great! You and I are following the same game plan for the same reasons.

Smokers have been pushed around and degraded for a long time. We've been told that we are nothing but smokers and if we tried to quit and returned to smoking...we are nothing but a smoker with no will power.

Smokers are a tight knit crowd and smokers are still our buddies.

Thanks again for sharing

Very nice post & certainly correct. I keep a couple of eGOs on hand that I loan (or gift) to friends, and if they are heavy smokers, I usually give them 24mg juice to try. I started at 30mg and have worked myself down to 24mg.
