I wonder just how "safe" those condom tips ARE though ???Does anyone know for sure ?

Our vape whops use them non stop to give people tastes of new juices etc and i took mine home with me last time i tried some juice.Ive been looking at it closely...and..well, obviously ,it has a hole at th e tip close to the hole in the tip (logical..) ...BUT couldnt a micro drop of saliva or some "invisible" microbes/viruses etc pass through there into the tip and "contaminate" it with anything from hepatitis to herpes to the flu or whatever ????

I wouldnt mind "sharing" equipment ( with a silicon cover) with friends or collegues but sharing with strangers makes me a bit nervous even WITH a condom-tip....Im even wondering if I should maybe give up on going to try new juices & stuff at my local vape store,it would be a real bummer because I really appreciate it and it would be tough to have to just buy liquids & equip without getting to try it out first ( would end up being very expensive too, with alot of "mistakes") but when i start thinking just how many people have been "trying" those tips/tanks.......:( !!!
(i dont think they clean & change them everyday, i think it just stays there until all the juice is gone(?)).

Of course in the old days at college etc we would all pass along & share cigs, drinks, everything, without ever thinking twice about it but nowadays....???(and you dont have to be a homeless junkie shooting up in some back alley or hanging with sleazy sexworkers to have hepatitis these days, alot of very "normal" looking professional people end up catchin g it, same goes with ehrpes etc, and usually people dont advertise this, not even to friends).

What do you guys think ? Anyone ever see/hear of any official scientific study on this (safety of those silicon tips and "sharing" ecigs ) ?

1. Comprehensive studies have not been done on the safety of ecigs in general. No, nobody has tested the little condoms that a very small percentage of vapers use to see if you're going to get herpes from it.

2. If you go to a vape shop that doesn't clean their equipment in front of you before you sample, ask then to. If they won't, don't go back there. Anything less than before every customer is too little. Rubbing alcohol takes 5 seconds to use and dries in a couple more, if they won't do that for you they don't deserve to get their 200% markup on products you would buy.
